Best of the Fight Night Series
in my opinion This is probably the best of the Fight Night Series. Ive played the first two and the champions one, and i dont know why but this one is best.
Really good game, with little flaws.
Gameplay: Overall, the game is well rounded, it has a fair amount of fighting styles, fighting stances. The Action in the ring though, as very satisfying the knockdowns/knockout's are, there will be times you'll want to sneak an extra hit while your opponent is going toward's the canvas and your punches will connect but sometimes will go thru your opponent's head.♦Graphics:Well, i have a 45 in LCD Tv, with my ps3 and HDMI cable hooked up, and it feels like at times im in the crowd watching the fight. Meaning they are very nice for the time the game was released.♦Sound: The sound goes with the game pretty well, There will be times you get a bit annoyed of the sound it makes when you're navigating thru the menus, in the game though, you'll love it a body shot sounds like you just broke 4 ribs in one punch.♦Lasting Appeal: Well for the PS3 they've added awsome content such as the "Get in the ring" mode. You're basicly fighting like you would in a regular match just that it's first person view AND it's split screen. Then you got "Hard hits" mode. Which is no rounds, but they take a break after someone gets knockedown. <-Fun with friends. (Final thought: The game is a 8-8.5. in my book, plus it's real cheap. it's something you can pick up and play at parties.)
Anybody who wrote a bad review regarding this game doesn't know what they are talking about. This game is a lot of fun. If you are crying about the controls then change them. This was the best Fight Night of the series hands down, Round 4 was terrible. You have a lot of different fighters to choose from and the career mode is lengthy and fun. The boxing is authentic and makes you feel like you are apart of the game. If you don't want to take my word for it then at least go out and rent this game and you'll see that the few bad reviews for this game are bogus and that it offers hours of fun. Great Game
i was playing this game and i think the controlls are bad i wont ever play this game again if i was you alll i would rent this game before buying it. i rather play wwe wrestling thats more fun to play. i dont know what to say cause thats all i have to say i think its stupid game rent it brfore u buy it if u like boxingi was verry mad at the game im bringing it back 1234im kind of slow person5678910 i dont know hppw many chracters this should be free dom of speech u should let just peoople only put a few words to say aaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaa
Well, if you like boxing (and I do!), then this is the only game to even consider purchasing. The only reasons I didn't give it a higher score is because A, I don't really like rap and the soundtrack got old to me in about one-second (the mute button is a fine remedy to that minor detail though) B) The career mode is kind of boring. And C) There aren't enough popular boxers to choose from. But those things are very minor considering that what I look for in a fighting game is primarily this... is it fun to play? And the answer here is a resounding yes. The mechanics of the game are very, very similar to real boxing. I box a little bit myself and I can say that no game has ever come this close to representing the sport so accurately. It is a little annoying how good the competition is when you start playing online, but thats how it goes with most games these days. Anyway, best boxing game ever made hands down. If they could only fix some of those complaints I made for round 4, they might receive that ever elusive 10 from me!
Most realistic boxing game to date
The Playstation 3 version of Fight Night Round 3 is quite simply the closest as one can get so far to a real life in the ring experience. The career mode offers a condensed simulation of one’s career progression from competing as an amateur to fighting for world titles in multiple weight classes. The only draw back is unlike other boxing games and more specifically the Fight Night series you cannot decide whether or not you want to move up a weight class or down a weight class in career mode. The graphics are simply outstanding… The one things that they should consider for future additions in the series is the addition of the WBC/WBA/IBF/WBO sanctioning bodies just as they exist in the real sport of boxing and more of boxing’s 17 weight divisions. Those are the only things keeping the games from being as close as one can get to a real life boxing experience. The gameplay depending on your button configuration/skill preference could take time to learn but once you know what your doing it won’t be as hard. All and all, this is the best boxing game I’ve seen so far and I can only imagine what improvements can be made on the Playstation 3 system.
