This game is fun for the first hour then it just gets annoying!!! and I'm one of the biggest Family Guy fans you'll ever met. I even have the Stewie tattoo to prove it. The character dialog is just snipits from the show so they get repeated at nausium. After about the hundreth time Stewie blabbed "This is my rifle. this is my gun" I wanted to blow his brains out!!!

The whole game is traveling through the multiuniverse to catch Bertram, Stewie's rival. It is action packed with long levels and a boss on each level. The game gives you tones of cool stuff to use while you play the game. It includes guns, bombs, chickens and a whole lot more. Although the levels are long and action packed there are not a lot of them so it makes the game quick and short. You also can only use Brian and Stewie for the first time you play the story, unless you unlock and buy the extra players. (Which is Hard and takes a lot of time and death's) After you complete the story you unlock the rest of the characters. The game also has multiplayer like Call of duty, It includes maps like terminal in a Family guy universe. If you like shooters and Family Guy this would be a perfect game for you. If you like adventure games like little big planet, ratchet and clank or sly cooper, you may not like this game. Overall it was worth the price and I would recommend it to anyone in our world and the multiuniverse.

I can say that Family Guy Back to the Multiverse is a great game. Its fun inside and out.
SPOILER ALERT: In the game, you are the wonderful combo of Brian and Stewie, trying to stop Stewie's half brother, Bertram, from destroying the multiverse. You go to many universes to stop him, including Handicapped world, Pirates, Frat Partiers, and the North Pole.
Its a good objective, but what really steals the show is the Voices. I feel as if I'm in the show. The jokes in the game are funny, but some lines are repeated multiple times, which can get annoying at times.
Lets talk multiplayer. It is without question the best part of the game, despite there not being any online play. Seeing Stewie and Brian on the same screen was a great experience, and Deathmatch in the Multiplayer section of the menu was great.

This game is really fun, but if you aren't a big fan of the show like me, I highly doubt you will enjoy this game. If this was about American Dad or some other cartoon that I don't watch, I would give it a 7/10, but I'm still a little shocked that some critics even gave it below a 4/10. The gameplay is fun. You have a small set of weapons for each character. Ray guns and fancy gadgets for Stewie, and more traditional guns for Brian. You run around different muliverses chasing Bertram and you have to shoot down bad guys. It's just simple, not a masterpiece or anything. They also included some online multiplayer modes and some challenge modes, which look very similar to story mode. I really wish we could select more characters for the story mode other than just Brian and Stewie. The graphics look okay, for the most part. I wish the cutscenes could have been made to look exactly like the show. The soundtrack and sound effects are fine. We hear a lot of the music from the show. They even put the theme song at the beginning of story mode. After you beat the game and play all the modes, you might get tired of this game. I'm a big Family Guy fan, so I'm hanging on to this game. But again, if you don't love Family Guy, this isn't the best for you.

Although some of the graphics looked a little weird from my perspective after seeing some gameplay from the game, it still looks very fun and enjoyable. The graphics looked much better when there was just gameplay and no cutscenes... but who cares about graphics anyways? Looks really cool, but I'll wait for the reviews to come in before I purchase this... I suggest that you do the same. What interests me is how they can take years of episodes and interpret it into a single video game. Although licensing games haven't been too great in the past (besides the Arkham series), I still think that there is potential here and if this game succeeds (don't get your hopes too high), then this can possibly turn into a franchise.

I bought the family guy game thinking it would be so much fun. I bought the new version for sixty dollars I thought it would be worth it. At first it was tons of fun you can play as Brian or Stewie and try to stop Berterum by traveling to diffrent universes and killing the freaks of the multiverse. But you can't play online it's only local once you beat the campaign it's stupid and the campaign is the best part but I beat it in like a day after you beat the campaign it's worthless then I wanted to return it but they'll only give me like 38 dollars for it because it was new don't buy this game I was very upset with it don't waste your money buy something good!

I do not play video games often but this game was great! Each level was a different setting and they all were very appealing and fun! I highly recommend this game its great!
Rated 6 out of 10 by MartinsFriend9 High hopes squandered
After being really impressed with Family Guy Video Game! in 2006 I had pretty high hopes for this latest iteration of Family Guy. Needless to say, I was quickly disappointed. PROS: Easy transition between Stewie and Brian, decent realization of the family guy universe. CONS: Cheesy dialogue that just gets embarrassing, graphics not fully believable to the show, shooting mechanics are horrendous and Brian is wildly underwhelming. OVERALL: If you enjoy Stewie and Brian you may find this bearable but don't expect much else.

I am quite surprised they decided to do another family guy game. I love family guy and all but in my opinion I think the Stick of Truth will be better (just my opinion since that will be an RPG). Anyways, if the release date is the true date it has blown my mind. Not only is there any exclusive gameplay but there isn't much talk, no tv commercials, and not many pictures online. If this game gets at least a 6 or 7 through IGN I'll buy but for now I'm sticking with Borderlands 2.
Rated 8 out of 10 by BenCow Fun multiplayer, Repetitive Story
I got this game, being a family guy fan since high school. the Story mode is very repetitive, sometimes even stupid. the graphics aren't the best. I actually really enjoyed it, but its not like the show or even comes close to ps3 standards, graphics wise. While this game reminds me of a Nintendo Gamecube game at times, I still love the multiplayer, and watching peter beat up meg not only on my tv, but also on my ps3.
