Fallout
Fallout NV is still an amazing game, even though it was like a copy of Fallout 3. I hope bethesda comes up with a new fallout and improve.

Like a modern Fallout 2!
I never understood the complains about New Vegas. Bugs are one thing (knowing Bethesda, what'd you expect? I mean, really...), but I've heard complains on the story or setting, and even how overwhelming the game is in general.
The story is utterly amazing. You play as a courier, who's carrying a package for one of the many organizations rooted in the wasteland. While traveling, you're taken hostage and supposedly murdered for your cargo. However, you're (obviously) not dead, and after being patched up in a Podunk village, you set off to find your attacker and uncover the truth of what you were really bringing across the wastes.
Along the way you get to side with several organizations: Mr. House (who runs the New Vegas Strip), Yes Man, New California Republic or Caesar's Legion. Whichever side you join gives you a different story and ending, which is something largely different from Fallout 3, where there was really only one story you could play through, and several different endings (that were all quite similar in the end, just depending on karma-alignment).
Decisions made in New Vegas have a much larger impact than they did in Fallout 3. Fallout 3 really tones down a lot from Fallout 2.
That said, New Vegas is greatly inspired from Fallout 2, and really, they are very similar (except NV is, of course, very modernized). One of the main factions, the NCR, originally came from Fallout 2, and many references are made to cities, towns and people from Fallout 2! We also find out the fate of the Followers of the Apocalypse, who had a bugged ending in the original Fallout (only two of their endings were available, which left players with the thought they died off, since they didn't appear in Fallout 2).
Really, everything about New Vegas is amazing. I honestly enjoy it much more than Fallout 3, and Fallout 3 was my all-time favorite game (I liked Fallout 2's story and setting way more, though, so it's great to have New Vegas so similar).
If you've played New Vegas, but haven't played Fallout 2, I suggest you do, because you'll perhaps appreciate NV a WHOLE lot more (playing the original Fallout won't hurt either).

great game with only 1 problem
i have bought this game today and i beaten dead money so far. the best game out for ps3. i gave a 9 and not a 10 cause of freezes. rarely u will get them and make sure u save often. it took me 10 hours to beat dead money without turning system off. and the level cap limit for regular new vegas is 30 where ultimate is 50. i already had original but my level has been maxed out for some time. its def. worth the little extra to get ultimate. there is no end to this game and you will always find something to do. best game ever

Great game...but unplayable after an hour.
When I buy a game I always get it for ps3. I bought Fallout GOTY and had not ONE problem while playing it(some people says it crashes). I couldn't wait to get home to play FO:V and go gamble and get some power armour haha! Now I played the 360 version and thought it'll be the same...boy I was wrong...DEAD wrong. After you put in hors on this it'll attack in full force. Freezing and crashing....slowdown...all the stuff that some people said about what be happening on fallout 3 must have jumped to the ps3 version. I got so mad after a month that I just traded it for the 360s. $40 turned to $17 on store credit if I remembered correctly...nice. If your lucky to have both 360 and ps3,get the 360 one(this is coming from a ps3 fan). Quite sad.

Terribly laggy and Glitchy
I started the game and in the first scene the guy talking to you had a head, but no body. After i put in my name it froze my PS3. I tried it a couple times, but the same result. if you have an Xbox 360 it works perfectly fine, and i would recommend picking it up. if you don`t you will waste your money by buying it.

Great game for all gamers
If you are a fan of RPGs then this is the game for you. The gameplay and graphic are great and this game can have you playing up to 100Hrs+ on it. Only downside to it was the occasionally crashes which usually happens when I played around a few hours into the game or when too many things are happening at once. But just save often to keep yourself safe.

Great but glitchy
The game was great, it plus the DLC lasted 100 hours after completing it all. The game is humorous, well thought out and in my opinion 1000 timesbetter than Fallout 3. However that being said like with all Bethesda games once you get about 60 hours into the game it starts to lag and sometimes freeze very badly after about 3 or 4 hours of play.

Great game
Now before i get all preachy and stuff,i just have to say that i pre-ordered the game before the ultimate edition, thinking that i would have to buy the goty version of which they didn't make. that being said, this game was amazing by itself, with the dlc's i have gotten ( in total, mind you) 246 hours of gameplay. It's true that it has bugs, and freezes, but they never bothered me unless i played for 8-hours at a time. Even then, they were negligible. overall, great game.

Good But Not The Best
This is a great game! I enjoyed playing it for hours and hours but its just not as good as Fallout 3. Though it offers many new and wonderful things such as weapon customization, it just cant compare to the previous game. They need to take all the good things from Fallout 3 and New Vegas and make a super fallout... you know what i mean? But until then go and buy Fallout 3 GOTY or buy both!
