not even worth $5
this could have been a fun game if you could get a good combo system in, but it feels like your opponent can dodge your every attack and stun you. this was a fun game when I was doing the training mode where the opponent would not attack. this is and unrecommendable game

A very fun expirence of boxing
This is really a fun game especially if you have the playstation eye, you can scan your own face or anyone else to make many players, and go online. The graphics are cool, there is a low story line but high quality sound...GOOD game to have when bored buy it and a playstation eye. Laugh out loud as you pummel your opponent with a barrage of blows to the face and watch in satisfaction as your progress is illustrated by real-time facial deformation. With haymakers, face shots and body blows, wait for the right moment to drop a super punch to make your presence known. Taunt your adversaries and flaunt your talent, by tying one hand behind your back to add ultimate humiliation to your bout. In FaceBreaker, it just feels good to rearrange your opponent's face.

pretty nice game
An arcade-styled boxing game developed by EA Canada. Created by the same team that developed the award-winning Fight Night Round 3, FaceBreaker offers irreverent fun, immersive gameplay and stylized graphics. In this in-your-face, arcade world full of ego-wielding characters, each boxer comes to life with unique attributes and distinct personal style, including Romeo, a Latin lover known for his pelvic thrusts, and Molotov, an oversized Russian demolitions expert with a penchant for fighting dirty. In FaceBreaker, it just feels good to rearrange your opponent's face

Typical EAsports game
This game is a typical EAsports game. The controls are terrible, and of course there is no option to change them. There are three levels of difficulty and all of them seem the same. The computer performs moves that the player cannot so you can never get into a rythm. You win a match by knocking out the computer three times, if you can't after three rounds there is a sudden death round. This was a horrible idea because even if you knock the computer out twice he gets much harder to knock out in the sudden death round, to the point in some cases where you don't get a punch off even in EASY. You can imagine the frustration of knocking him down twice and not being touched by him till the sudden death round, then getting suddenly pummeled in the SD round. The customization of the created player is good but you can't change any of the fighting styles so the only thing that you can customize is the fighters appearance. There is absolutely no flow to this game. I've never played a boxing game where the dodge buttons are the same as the punch buttons. This makes it extremely hard to avoid punches while fighting since you hold the button down to dodge and tap it to throw a punch. Once again EA has made a game that looks good but plays terrible. This a good game if you just plan on fighting your friends the AI is horrible. Another EA stinker!

Repetitive and Unappealing
I downloaded the demo for this game and it didn't impress me. At all. Now before I rant about the negatives I will point out that this game has a very good character editor. You can change EVERY feature of your player. But after that the game is all downhill. The game became repetitive after 10 min of play. You can high punch, low punch, and use a super hit. That's about it. Whatever you do NOT buy this game when there are incredible, ingenious games coming like Littlebigplanet. Please PS3 owners don't waste your money!!

Pretty Cool Game
I downloaded the demo of this game the other day from the PS Store. I turned out to be pretty cool. The graphics were really good, and so was the gameplay. There were a bunch of different game modes. There were also some cool features like Create-A-Boxer. You can make your own boxer and customize him/her. You can also you a USB Camera if you have one and upload your face and use that on your boxer. It's a REALLY fun game to play with your friends. I liked it. I'm going to get it when it comes out.

Looks cool
The first time I heard of this game, I saw it on E3 2008. So I took a shot at downloading the "FaceBreaker" demo yesterday on my PS3. From what I can tell, it's really fun. It has very great potential to become a great arcade type of (fictional) boxing. The controls work great, graphics are "cartoonishly" good, and gameplay is pretty smooth. (However the demo locks up at times during the loading screens before the fight). I don't suggest this to hardcore gamers who played "Ready to Rumble 2" (I never played it) and prefer that and bash this, but I suggest this to general/casual gamers who would want to increase their fun factors. I'm looking forward to getting this in September. one love everyone

what the...?
This game is very stupid. I played the demo, and it has nothing to do with boxing except they look like boxers. Ready 2 rumble was a far better arcade boxing game. When I was playing this demo, I was pressing all kinds of buttons and my character teleported for a second. That's more like a ninja in boxing trunks and a glove. Stupid game, don't buy this because you will get tired of it fast and be angry at how stupid the whole freestyle/arcade boxing game this one is trying to be.
