Dragonball: Raging Blast 2
The best DB game available for PS3 or 360.
THE BAD: The customization system should have been like it was back in Raging Blast 1. The new system is very tedious. Also, there's no item shop. Some battles in Galaxy Mode are just plain pointless (like start near death [though that can be reversed at times]). There's really nothing else to complain about. THE GOOD: Graphics are beautiful. The fighting is far deeper than the original. Tons of fan service. And there's a remake of Plan to Eradicate the Saiyans on disc. There's so much to do in RB2, that it may keep you occupied for a while.
GAME IS GREAT!!!
As a dbz fan i was dissapointed...no story line.?! Also the controller lay out sucked you really couldn't change it to a point where i felt comfortable playing it just saying i had this game for like 4 days and returned it ...... o well but still if ur looking for a good fighting game save your money dbz: ult. tenkaichi should be coming out soon!!!
I've seen all of the videos and screen shots for this game. I think that this game is gonna be second in line for best of Dragon Ball Z games.Of course it's not gonna touch Dragon Ball Z Tenkaichi 3. I love how they have a 30 minute movie also with the game, I thought that was pretty cool. I hope everyone who gonna get this game or already pre-ordered it have as much fun as I'm gonna. If anyone want to play online when the game is release my PSN tag is Gamer-God-. The only games I play is Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, DBZ, Mag, SVR, NBA, and NFL.
BEST DBZ GAME OUT!
this game is awesome. the graphics are so real. the gameplay is also amazing. Every thing in this game is AMAZING besides one thing, but it is not really a problem. If they were to add ssj4 charcters, the game would be perfect.
I played the first Raging Blast and I thought that one wasn't bad but from the looks of the Second Raging Blast, it will probably have good potential compared to the first one because first off this game will have more characters added into it compared to the first. Plus I have been hearing a lot from other people saying the Graphics will be better. There will be more downloadable content then the first game had. Plus the battle sequences will be way better in a way due to the fighting combos in the game itself. In my personal opinion I think this game will be worth the money just due to the fact that I am a fan of the DBZ series and to those who are a fan of the series to, I would recommend getting this game. But to those who are thinking about buying the game but aren't quite sure that it would be worth the money I would wait till the price of the game drops down in price just cause u dont wanna risk the fact of wasting your money if u dont end up liking it in the end.
2nd to Best in the Series
I was very satisfied when I played this game. It was awesome despite the fact that there was no dragon ball or gt characters in the game is still amazing. Galaxy Mode: its fun and all with the different challenges but i would prefer if there was an actual story mode, but its still fun. Battle Zone: I am glad that they made this insted of challenge towers. This will prove your ability to the game . It also will increase your skill exponentially. Tutorial and Training: same as other games. I like how they made an effort on letting you choose what supers you would like to a certain limit. This made gameplay and online fights much more interesting and unique. This game will not disappoint you unlike the new Dragon Ball Z Ultimate Tenkaichi
Great game, missing story.
I've always been a big fan of DBZ games and i had to have this one, the gameplay is solid but just understand that there is no story mode. They replaced the story mode with a "galaxy" mode, every player has his own unique galaxy with around 4 to 10 battles for each character, and they actually do say things pertaining to the story during battles (i.e. teen gohan vs. cell, cell says things like "you've changed" and "how could someone like this exist" but there are no cutscenes). I really wished the price hadn't gone down $10 a day after i bought it but in my opinion it was well worth it. I recommend this game to any dbz fan.
One of the best DBZ games ever!!
This game is more fun then its predecessor. Raging Blast was fun, but Raging Blast 2 shuts it down. I just purchased the game and only played for maybe an hour or so and I'm already hooked. The fighting environments are well made and the characters look amazing. Each character is unique. It also includes the elusive OVA that I've been wanting to see ever since I heard about it years and years ago. The game play itself has so much potential. The combo system feels improved and movements are smooth. Super attacks are the same as the last game, but that's OK with me. Also, the new characters added have the same super attacks they did back in the Tenkaichi series, but again it's fine by me. I recommend this game to every fan of DBZ and to fans of fighting games.
I was gonna give my review a 9, but still stuck with the 10. The reason for that was because of a few characters that were left out like Lord Slug and Master Roshi. There are others they missed, but I don't want to list them all. The rest of the characters must be for part 3. Also, just warning you that they used the voices from Dragon Ball Kai and not from the original Funimation DUB. Again, not to big a deal so I stuck with the 10 star rating.
ONE OF THE BEST DBZ GAMES EVER
It has a great combat system but you have to take time to learn the controls, there is no traditional DBZ story mode instead there is galaxy mode which has you playing as any dude you have unlocked and battle random fighter's from the show even if you don't have them unlocked. The graphics are just like the dbz show/anime, the voice acting is spot on and some of the voices are from Kai example Frieza and Gohan. The character roster is great they have Goku, kid Gohan, teen Gohan, adult Gohan, ultimate Gohan, Cooler, Broly, Vegeta, super Janemba, all of the Ginyu force, Chiaotzu, Tien, Krillin, super saiyan 3 Broly and Vegeta and plenty more. All in all this game is perfect for a DBZ fan(Also this game has better gameplay than BT3) and might be a good game for some newcomers to the series.
Stay away if you want to use D-pad to move
I came from playing budokai 3 which you can use the d-pad to move, this game forces you to use analog sticks to move and do specials and you can't remap the movement to D-pad. Camera angles are very bad most of the time I lose the opponent because of where the camera angle defaults. I will say that the graphics are great but that is the only positive.
