DJ Hero with Turn Table
Guitar Hero shows in DJ Hero!
This game is very amazing to play. I have loved Guitar Hero games and Rock Band, but after 5 versions of Guitar Hero it was getting bland. Thanks for the curveball. This really was something different. I am not really big into rap type music, but that is not all of what is in this. It provides mixes with rock music as well. There is even a mode where you can play Guitar against Dj. This is really cool for someone who doesn't want to play with the turntable provided. This game is very similar to Guitar Hero 5. The graphics, the gameplay, and the interface. I love this about it. I personally love how it is challenging and new. I mean we will all get used to the turntable and it will become boring, but for right now I am loving it. Daft Punk mixes are possibly the best to play. All the mixes are outstanding though. If you are getting sick of Guitar Hero and want a change get this. If you are new to Guitar Hero get this anyway.
probably the best music game
I own it a few months ago and i enjoy it completely. The song variety is incredible, my favourite remix is Queen - We Will Rock You / Daft Punk - Robot Rock, i always play it. If you are fan of the music games you must play and enjoy DJ Hero. The turntable is incredible, it feels like a real DJ. You can select the audio, personalize the remixes, use the euphoria button, rewind the mix, and more. The sound of DJ Hero is amazing! and you can enjoy it more if you play it with headphones. It is good too for partys and for family, if you connect it to a home theater you will enjoy it completely, because the sound and the quality of the remixes is incredible. The graphics of the game are in the normal level for a music game, i mean it is fine for the game category. Even when people dance, the quality is very good. The challenge is excelent, even when in expert you might schratch in the direction that it indicates. If you are good in the music games you will enjoy it at all costs. Really, i recommend it for anyone who likes music games. you will enjoy it from the first mix, until the last.
I actually can't wait for this
Ok so i hear people knocking this game and talkting about it's not worth it and what not but this brings a whole new vibe to the musical gaming world. First people need to stop comparing this game to guitar hero thats 2 tottallydifferent genres of music,I myself am a DJ i been a dj for 9 yrs and i think it's about time they show us some love in the game world. Second dont get me wrong about guitar hero thats a cool game and no can take anything from it but dj hero come on now thats a whole new concept i would love to see the people who knock this game try dj'ing and if your a dj who think its not worth it then sorry they tried to show us some love. Any way back to the game i hope you can hap a large selection in HIP-HOP(my area of expertise lol),top 40,and even dance, another thing that would be hot is if you can actually do your own scratching but i guess we will have to wait and see.
Greatest music game i EVER played
This game is sooooo incredible i wasn't expecting this game to be like this at all. Dj hero is for any one who likes a challenge even for my self who has been a dj for 9yrs and with a very similar style to the music in the game it sure did give me a challenge. The cross fader control and scratching are so in sync to actual scratching (In expert mode) this game is for any dj any aspiring dj or if you just want to have fun, Dj hero Has the best of the best dj's in the game and the music choice is great it touches every genre of music you will hear in a club. I hear many people talking about the graphics in the game and they are not bad at all (you might want to adjust your tv's) and who really cares about the graphics in a MUSIC video game. But all in all i give this whole game a 10 out of 10,if you dont believe me get it yourself you won't be disapointed.
I stayed away from this game based on the name and the cost. I finally purchased and this game is solid. Guitar hero was limited on what you were doing. The crossfade between song and scratching added additional elements that make this game more interactive on difficult levels. The mixes and song selection were great and the tutorial was excellent. When I first saw some of the pairings I would not have thought they would work together. But the songs pairings are intuitive and after awhile you can guess which direction the song is goin before the instructions tell you to go there. There are more things you can do with the turntable than the previous games guitar, drum set, etc. I hope they continue this series as it does have room to grow. Bottom line this game is alot of fun and I would certainly recommend it.
People are ignorant. Seriously though, people can be pretty stupid. Let me explain. A lot of people are saying this looks stupid, that it's just a Guitar Hero Rip-off. Well you people need to open your eyes. DJ Hero delivers so much differently than Guitar Hero does. I'm going to divide the rest o my "buzz" into sections: Peripheral: -The turntable looks cool, 3 buttons on the record. As well as a button, a nob and a switch on the other part. I think the peripheral looks really good, and the use of the effects nob, and the switch, make it even cooler. game Features: -Euphoria, like star-power, doubles your multiplier. -The "Rewind" feature sounds interesting, and very cool. Overall, I predict a 9/10 overall, from people who actually play, and who actually have a positive attitude about it.
It is a good game, but no fail
this game is very fun and it is the best game i have ever played of music and party, but the part that really ticks me off is thier is no failure which means you cant fail in the game which made it a very easy game. overall it is a very nice and unique game.
I just got this game yesterday and let me tell this game is really fun. as well as fun it is also very addictive. it is also very challenging...but i like a good challenge. the only downfall about the game is the graphics. if you play with a guitar along with the turntable the guitar's side's graphics are really bad almost like ps2 graphics...but in my opinion that doesn't really matter to me. the music on the game is really cool is you like that type of music... if you think it is all rap and hip-hop song your wrong because there is a lot of songs that you would be surprised about...one i think of right off the top of my head is weezer... but i know that are more like that. i personally think the game is fun and addictive even if you have never touched a real turntable
DJ Hero: Fun and Challenging
I found DJ Hero to be a very fun and challenging game with a high level of replayability and an interesting interface. DJ Hero has great graphics for a music game but honestly, who cares about the graphics on a music game anyway. The key here is that you are able to accurately see the dots and squiggles that tell you what to do on your turntable controller. The backgrounds are not distracting and the colors are distinct so you always know what you should be doing next. The game play of DJ Hero is what makes it fun and innovative. The turntable controller is light enough to use in almost any position and is very responsive to your button pushes and scratch motions. One problem that I ran into with the turntable controller is that it can be difficult to control the switching function using the slider. Sometimes the slider goes too far or not far enought and it really gets difficult when there is a lot of sliding back and forth. This control issue can make the harder levels nearly impossible unless you develop a good technique for sliding the cross fader. Other than that the buttons are responsive and well placed. The song selection for this game is outstanding. I wish you could create your own mixes between different songs that are included in the game but that may be an option for a future game. I think some of the songs that were selected are a little too genre specific and don't have the mainstream appeal of other songs that could have been picked but overall they make for fun gaming. Overall I think this is a great and fun game that anyone can pick up and play. I will say that on the harder levels I don't think that very many people will have the required coordination to do very well, especially as the songs get more complicated. The difficulty on this game ramps up pretty quickly so get ready for a challenge if you like to try to get high scores. If you like music games and you like pop, hip hop and house, then you'll love this game.
DJ Hero-Whens The Next One?
Okay so this game is really fun, challenging, and awesome. Im only on medium and still have a challenge with some of the songs. This game is better then the Guitar Hero Series I think. My cousin also enjoys it and he has no interest in hiphop/rap/r&b type music. Hes a rock fan but he enjoys this game like I do. The only thing that bothers me is that I can't create my own DJ or there isn't a tour type game mode. I enjoy the setlists but I wish they did something better with it. But I recommend this game to any body who is a DJ,hiphop, rap,or guitar hero fan. And I hope they come out with a 2nd one with a tour type mode, create your own DJ, and a lot more hip-hop selection. I think just about any person or guitar hero fan would enjoy this game.
