DJ Hero 2 Turntable Bundle
DJ Hero 2 falls extremely short
A lot of people rate this game high have either
1. Never played DJ Hero 1
2. Play very casually, medium<
Anyway, DJ Hero 2 falls very short from its predecessor, DJ Hero.
The songs are not that good, not as bold as DJ Hero and the scratches are horrendous. In the first DJ Hero you can casually scratch on most songs, but in the second one, you have to flail your arms around like a monkey on steroids unless you plan to lose your multiplier.
DJ Hero was a very forgiving game, but for a good reason. This is a new game type we are dipping into here, and still isn't all that adequate.
Anyway, with DJ Hero 2, they did not make as many leaps as in the first one, and any leaps they attempted, fell flat on their face. Empire mode? Garbage. Seriously, the customizations are so limited, its like one of those awkward vending machines that serve 3 items. No wonder this game is on sale for $30.
My advice is to either save your money, or go buy the 1st DJ Hero, as DJ Hero 2 drops on the ground and gets a 4 from me.
Too Much Fun
I love this game. I truly do. I got this bundle for $39.99 and am fully satisfied. However, Empire is kind of fast to play through, but don't let that stop you from purchasing this. If you don't have a turntable already, and you have no one to play with, this bundle is great for you, even if you don't have DJ Hero already. If you may have other players, get the party bundle to avoid fighting over the turntable with your friends and/or family. Bottom line, buy the game.
got it for my 16 birthday and im about to be 19 and im still in love with this game. Its my favorite game.
When i first got this game i was playing it for hours and wanted to stop but my hands wouldn't let me. After a while when you played all the songs you liked it's kinda boring and makes you want to play with a partner , playing online is really fun because your not playing alone which gives it a little more suspence.
Some Amazing Mixes
For once a game which features current songs. Some of the mixes are really great. I havent played DJ hero 1, but i love this game. I bought this for $30. If you like music, you will love this game. I will definitely buy DJ Hero one now.
WOW I LOVE THIS GAME IT IS PERFECT FOR PARTIES. I PLAY THIS GAME ALL DAY IM TELLING YU IT THE BEST / PERFECT GAME EVER
Real good party game.
I love the song, djs, and clubs.I can wait until new songs come out.
This game is great. The music is awesome. and its always fun to play.
i would definantly recomend DJ HERO 2 to amlost every one.
game is great. has good songs and is fun to play. Activision nailed it!
Okay game, but just a fad.
I would have to say it did not live up to the prestige of its former, and although the song choice features some hot artists, it did not come up to par. The mixes don't quite flow together right and the scratches don't match the song. I played for a week or so but lost interest after that, fun too play occasionally but not all the time. If you want a music-oriented game I would go with the original rock band, or the band specialties
( ex: green-day, beatles). It includes a not-so-customizable Empire mode. The fact of the matter is, it is a fad game just like guitar hero, and other games of its sort. A new one comes out we all play it, then it ends up collecting dust on our shelves. Anyway I wouldn't reccomend it to buy.
