This game has a long challenging campaign with multiple different pathways hidden in each level. Players will have to actually think about how to engage the enemy (if at all) because ammo depletes very fast. I found that isolating individual enemies and using melee take downs is the best way to disperse of hostiles. Enemy AI proves to be a real challenge to players. Deus Ex provides an upgrade system called augmentations that improve your characters abilities. Even when you are maxed out in your augs, enemies still provide a challenge. Augs are still very useful as they allow alternate paths to be taken. Since augs don't make you OPed gameplay is still fun and challenging. Deus Ex Human Revolution is one of my Top 5 favorite games of this generation and top 10 of all time. Deus Ex is truly a stealth masterpiece, and i look forward to the DEV's next game, Thief in early 2014

In short, the original version of Deus Ex: Human Revolution was the best cross-platform game of the 360/PS3 generation, hands down.
I was sold this game as, "Splinter Cell, but way better." Being a dyed-in-the-wool Splinter Cel fan since day one, I was skeptical, but, boy, did this game deliver! DE:HR simply has the most consistently satisfying gameplay of any game I have played in recent memory, The Last Of Us being the exception, and, even then, only a tie in that regard.
The Director's Cut promises more varied boss battles, greater customization options, and drops an entire campaign's worth of expansion (in the form of the previously-released DLC) smack in the middle of the game, while still adding second screen control support, making this the definitive action rpg to date.
You owe it to yourself to get this game, whether you are a DE:HR fan or not. Do it.
