Rated 7 out of 10 by HFBVHFBVUIBFEVIEFBNJHYUG GREAT DEADPOOL FUN
what can i say its Deadpool, expect crazy,rude,crude,sexu@l,violent fun lol, after seeing Wolverine ruining Deadpool its nice to atleast forget about it with a true Deadpool game, its worth the money for all Deadpool fans like me, the game was laugh out loud funny and just out there crazyness with lots and lots of violent Deadpool killing and smart mouth remarks what can i say but he is the Merc with A Mouth and thats what makes him great, my only complaint about it and its not a real shocker is that the game is NOT long enough, after u find all the easter eggs and interactive stuff and unlock trophies really theres nothing more to do besides kill your way to next level and finish upgrading and unlocking weapons and skills, other then that its a fun game and will remain in my collection, Deadpool 2 please lol
Rated 10 out of 10 by Shr00m Most fun I've ever had in a video game!
Lets get to it right off the bat: Pros:
Fast paced action
Balance between swords and guns
Upgrades/new weapons can be purchased from a pause menu at any time
Tons of baddies to sever!
Perverted. Yes this is a pro. This is Deadpool: Merc with a mouth! Not spiderman!
Very very very very very VERY funny!
Makes up for the lack of Deadpool movie! (Seriously, it really does!)
No real story (Deadpool periodically jumps in and interrupts any potential story development. Which is hilarious, but still, no story).
Very short campaign (took me 7 hours to beat it first time on normal).
Replay value is good for me, however I’m sure quit a few people won’t enjoy hearing the same jokes again, so this could be a con.
Overall, it is hard to say this is a great buy, considering it’s $50, however, as the title of this review states, I have not had this much fun playing a video game EVER! So it’s really a personal preference. Perhaps being a relatively short game would be some incentive to buy it for more than gamers to get into it, enjoying all the Deadpooly goodness whether you’re a gamer (if so I’d play it on hard) or just a deadpool fan (in that case, try easy).

I picked up Deadpool today hoping for a silly shoot 'n' melee game with lots of humor and memorable moments and that's exactly what I got. If you can get past the occasional glitch or two, then you will find this game actually very entertaining. I love Deadpool, read the comics and always see clever things involving him on the internet so when I saw this game's announcement, I went straight over to Gamestop and pre-ordered. I picked it up today and couldn't wait to just relax and play. The game's story may be a little flat but I wasn't expecting award winning writing. The upgrade system is very rewarding and fleshed out. The combat may be sometimes mashy, but combos and momentum make up for what could have been a total disaster. The shooting aspect probably has to be the weakest because I didn't ever really find it fun to use if I just wanted to slice enemies, but the easy to execute headshots make mini bosser a lot smaller of a problem then they need to be. Nolan North of course nails the voice but I was already predicting that since he has been the voice of Deadpool in the past. This game has its flaws, but otherwise that I think this game is entertaining and just very fun to play.
Rated 8 out of 10 by Azezel HOLY CHIMICHANGAS WASN'T THIS AMAZING?!
I just finished Deadpool's video game. Pretty entertaining and fun, I'll say! I haven't had that much fun with a comic-inspired game since X-Men Origins: Wolverine. However, Deadpool's ending did disappoint me because it was a bit anticlimactic. In both Deadpool and X-Men Origins: Wolverine, they both reused the same enemies over and over which got a bit repetitious.
Now, with Deadpool, it's a bit more understandable, considering that Mister Sinister is the main villain of the game and he delves in both genetics and cloning. Where with X-Men Origins: Wolverine it didn't have such a thing it just had the same enemies reused over and over. Something else that disappointed me was how they said that Deadpool couldn't die but once his health reaches "0" he's done for. Which leads you to a Quit game, Respawn at last checkpoint, etc. screen.
I would have liked something like Lionhead Studios did in Fable III and how the hero could and would die but he'd come back to life right then and there after losing some experience/orbs in the process. That's something I would have loved to see in Deadpool's video game. It makes much more sense for a character (like Deadpool) that can't die. Anything else and it just creates a falsehood that isn't true to Deadpool's character or what they said in the game. But at least there was Deadpool's healing factor!
All that being said, despite it's flaws Deadpool was actually a pretty good game for what it set out to do. Deadpool's sarcasm, one-liners, his fighting style, his perverse demeanor, the hilarity/hijinx that happens in the game and everything else that makes Deadpool, well, Deadpool. I wouldn't be surprised if they don't make a sequel (like they didn't with X-Men Origins: Wolverine) but I'd actually love the idea of High Moon Studios doing another Deadpool game. I also recommend playing the game!
Rated 5 out of 10 by petdragon Decent but over exaggerated
First off, I have to start this by saying don't buy into the grossly exaggerated hype of "OMG, this is the FUNNIEST game ever!" That is no where near the truth. Sure, there are a FEW laughs here and there, but the game is no where near as funny like everyone made it out to be. For actual game play, it was alright. Reminds me of the Wolverine: Xmen Origins game. Enemies do get repetitive though and the aiming with guns needs some improvement. The several moves you can purchase that corresponds to each weapon was a bit unnecessary. In short, if you are a marvel fan, this game is good to have around to pass the time. Once you beat it though, nothing left to do.

The was cool and fun but kind of too short. Should have been longer with more stuff to do. But did like the gameplay a lot.
Rated 10 out of 10 by Defadam Soooo fun
If you are a fan of the comics you'll love the game. If you've never read the comics this is a great introduction to the "merc with a mouth". The game play is easy to grasp and extremely entertaining. It's definitely not for kids , as per usual deadpool fashion , there is a lot of adult oriented humor and graphic language and extremely violent. This game is just overall excellent I just wish it was longer but if you play harder difficulty the game is extremely challenging but still super enjoyable. Buy it, you won't regret it.
Rated 8 out of 10 by IronManMark3 Great for one time
This is by far the most entertaining game of all time! The voice of Deadpool (Nolan North) captures him perfectly. This game is absolutely worth playing but in my opinion as a rental play through I wouldn't recommend buying it but certainly play it at least once all the way through. CAUTION the humor although hilarious is fairly vulgar and inappropriate anyone under 18 should not play this game for some of the jokes are very crude only a mature person should play this game.
Rated 0 out of 10 by serial26 Long over due
I've been collecting Deadpool comics since 1999 and this is long over due. He truly stole the show with his insanity and I love him. Deadpool has been the most complex Marvel anti-hero to date (even though hes a copy of DC's "Deathstroke (The Terminator)". I'm surprised they are barely doing this now, but makes sense I guess when Deadpool is "famous". Overall I'm excited! If anyone here reads comics I recommend "Deadpool Kills the Marvel Universe."
