Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dark Souls II Review Great combat, pretty good graphics,(might encounter some low resolution textures here and there.) Plenty to love about this title overall.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Masterpiece! Destroys Ps4 version first sin Dark souls 2 first sin has soo many bugs picking up dark souls 2 for ps3 is the best idea one could come up with. The lack of 60 fps is hardly noticeable. and the fact weapons dont break in seconds of using them is a prayer answered all in its own if you havent played scholars of first sin yet dont!!!! your weapons will break.. and not how intended they will break even when your swinging at nothing.. its a game breaking flaw and its really the only reason I refuse to play next gen dark souls 2 is because of the weapon durablity being tied to frame rate punishing players who play on ps4 differently than those who play the game on pc or ps3.. game producers and devs already commented and said they will not fix it because they are lazy and dont get paid enough to care about their game after its released so its up to fans to put up withe games bugs or refuse to play this entry... I advise playing the ps3 version so your enjoy your first experiece before learning how horrible first sin is... dont let it judge all the souls games they are not all like this half made piece of plastic that spins next gen.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Least favorite game of all time... I am so disappointed in this game. I had such high hopes. I REALLY REALLY wanted to like it, especially since I paid over $60 for it. Sadly, this game let me down. Hard. There was no storyline, no character development, the graphics were incredibly boring, and there was absolutely no direction. Just dying over and over again. It is clear that some of you like this, possibly ENJOY doing this. I say this game was made for you masochists with too much time on your hands. Why not just save that $60 and ask a friend to kick you in the crotch over and over again? I understand that it is supposed to be hard, and that it was supposed to be a nod back to the era when games didn't coddle players, like so many do today. I appreciate that, but after putting 12 hours into it, experimenting with different tactics, I still have nothing to show for it and my hope is crushed. For players looking for a really hard game that is actually fun and rewarding to play, may I suggest Ultima 4? It is certainly kinder on the wallet.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Instant classic in my opinion. This game is a RPG so you have tons of options and places to go. You will go on unforgettable quest defeat the strongest of bosses. Most of all YOU WILL BE GREAT if you beat this game. Dark Souls 2 has great replayability. I recommend it to those who beg for a Challenge!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from ******* epic! Dark souls II is amazing, this is by far the best game I have ever played. I am new to the series but I bought demon's souls and dark souls as soon as I got into dark souls II. Yes this game is challenging and if you can't handle dying a few times before you get something right it may not be for you. But if you enjoy a challenge and getting your money's worth this game is for you. I am addicted and put a good amount of hours into the game and still am hungry to put in more. The reward is worth the challenge and it is very satisfying to conquer. Good luck if you are willing to take on the world of dark souls if not have fun playing skyrim with my 10 year old cousin.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Satisfyingly challenging and rewarding I loved and played the first dark souls to death. This one took everything that could make that game better and did it perfectly. The combat was improved which was already great in the first place, and the enemies were even more intelligent and challenging. Nothing feels better than taking a down a giant beast with your trusty sword and shield, bow and arrow, magic, sorcery, pyromancy, etc. etc. And the online game play is great to! the dark souls community is great and as a person who normally hates interacting with people online this game is so much fun to do with friends and complete strangers. If you haven't played it yet do it. *warning* this game is harder than the first! but still just as fun if not more so!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dark Souls vs Dark Souls 2 Really this game will be like Portal vs Portal 2, it's all down to preference which one you like more but both are great games. If you played Demon's Souls and liked it a lot, you will also appreciate the Demon's Souls like mechanics they thrown in here, otherwise you might find it as just cons and accuse it of being a step back. MY only real complaint is the inconsistencies of the tightly packed content. This thing is loooooaaaded with content and secrets but it feels a bit off every now and then.
