Product Details:

For more than 20 years, the Coalition and the Nationalists fought their bloody war. With war comes technology, and it developed at an astonishing pace. The two armies fought each other with ever more powerful weapons, yet neither side gained the advantage. Ultimately, the two sides ran out of funds, willpower, and men. As the armies collapsed leaving the country in anarchy, a new power rose. Sweeping down on the exhausted country, PSI's forces obliterated the remaining armies and began its conquest of the East. Now, the Western territories, mostly unaffected by the civil war, find themselves suddenly defenseless against a new and quickly growing east coast power.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Ummmmm what?? Well i bought this game when it first came out and it was good. Now let me just say i had this game for only 53 hours! I had a lot of trouble with it a little later. It skipped and had a lot of glitches. I know this sounds crazy but even the graphics were horrible! This is supposed to be a ps3/xbox360 game! I brought it back to the store clerk and he said back already? I said well lets just say this game sucks! DONT BUY THIS GAME!!! ITS HORRIBLE!!!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from A Lot of Fun I see the bad reviews and I must say I really enjoy this game. I do not have a problem with the graphics and the voice acting is actually pretty good. I have had it freeze once or twice. It has on or offline co-op and for you trophy nuts you can use the in-game codes and still get the trophies. I uses standard 3rd person controls you pick up weapons off of your fallen enemies as well. There are a few sections that also have you on a motorcycle. those controls can take a little getting used to though. The game also uses a Steampunk theme which is a plus in my book. There are codes for weapons and appearance so you can look like almost anyone form the game.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from big dissapoinment I had seen this game in magazines and thought it looked cool, but man was i wrong. I am so glad that i only rented it because it is one of the worst games i've ever played. It's graphics look horrible when you consider that its on the ps3/xbox360 and it glitched so many times. the sounds were annoying and at one point i put my tv on mute because it was so bad. i beat the game in 3 hrs and it was just so easy that my little sister could beat it. the controls werent all to bad they just werent good. the game did not respond like i wanted it too. when i tried to jump the game glitched and i ended up inside the wall. the story line was so bad that it was hard to follow. through the whole game i had no idea what was going on all i knew was that some enhancer thing called serum that made people go crazy. this game was not good at all even though the company made it sound good in the magazines. anyone thinking of getting this game i am telling you now DO NOT BUY THIS GAME IT IS NOT WORTH THE MONEY IT ISNT EVEN WORTH RENTING.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Not a very good experience I just wanted to say how disappointed I am I actually own this game. The game is very very difficult, no the gameplay itself isnt a challenging game....the aiming is so dern ridicolously stubborn that it makes the entire game harder. You want your aiming reticle to move a slight bit and even if you so much as tap your analog just a wee bit your aiming reticle will move 4 inches. To move onto other things, the story....if there is one? I dont get it....it jumps around to much to understand it so I stopped trying. I am trying to beat this game for a platinum is about all I play this game for now. One very poor aspect is that when you kill an enemy the dying motion isn't fluid. He doesnt drop down like a normal human being he falls down like a guy dying in a cartoon flipbook. It just doesn't look real, it looks like a really poor cartoon that has maybe 4-5 frames. He's standing, in a crouching position and then on the ground dead. No frames in between. Very disappointed this is a PS3 game this game would have a hard time getting a good rating on the PS2 because of how poor the story is and how little effort went into the animations. It really looks like this game was slapped together in about 2-3 months.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from Worst Game Ever!!!!!! Ok, I've played a huge amount of games, some good and some were pretty bad but "Damnation" takes the cake! This game is awful in almost every way imaginable. First, the graphics are sub-par for a next-gen console like the PS3, then the controls are non-productive to gameplay, the sound quality and acting are horrendous to say the least. Even trying to kill an enemy takes a whole magazine which is totally unnecessary and frustrating not to mention that you can still get hit while in the games poorly designed cover system. There was absolutely nothing appealing about this game so I implore any gamer out there who is looking for a good shooter to waste some time before the new wave of epic games like call of duty modern warfare 2, or drakes fortune 2 comes out, do yourselves a huge favor and buy Dead Space if you haven't already because that's what I did and I am in total awe at how great this game is. To be honest it is on the same level as Resident Evil if not better and scarier. Be warned once again "DO NOT BUY THIS GAME"!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Too bad This game looked pretty cool, I'd been anticipating it for nearly a year and I'm so happy that I only rented it. The graphics look like early ps2/xbox, the sounds are almost all annoying. I swear you'll hear or read the words 'Terra Verte' like 9000 times. There are only 4 stages, and having just started the 4th I can tell you I really have no idea what the story is apart from some drug called serum that makes people stronger? So after 3/4 of the game all you understand is that steroids = robots? I'm clueless as to whether this game is set in the past or the future, because the characters wear cowboy hats and you;; travel through mining towns etc. but there's robots and weird steam powered guns? The only aspects of the game that I can tell you are cool is when you get high up you can see villages you shot through an hour ago, or a tower that you'll climb in 20 minutes. The problem is one you acquire spirit vision early in the game you can simply press L1 and see where all the enemies are. Basically no challenge, no story, no real fun.
