Castlevania Harmony of Despair
I only played 1 castlevania on NES years and years ago, with that said I am new to the Castlevania games. At first this game was confusing alot of stuff to understand and without a proper manual it mad it worse. Once I understood it and got used to it I enjoyed it since. It is an rpg that is short but you will beat it hundreds of times to collect better items and master your skills and magic. This is better than the 360 version because it has 4 player couch co-op (local multiplayer), and you get chapter 7 free and 2 aditional characters that I think you can buy on the 360 marketplace. The only bad thing is this will consume alot of your time because you will always come back for more. Ps3 version also has 6 player online like the 360. This is a must buy for old school gamers and rpg fans.
Castlevania slayed success
It definitely brings back nostalgia from past games, from its famous 2D platform, to familiar faces. If what you long for is the classic 2D scroller, then this is something that might be of interest. It gets down to details with familiar weapons, to familiar bosses. The sprites all are also recognizable. For castlevania fans, this is a HD version, which means cleaner, of former stages, including some DLC. All in all, it comes out quite addictive and slays success.
