Great game. hard to find
I wanted to get this game for my son so we could play together, it has some newer CN characters and lots of older ones I remember growing up. IT is like smash bros but it also has levels you have to make it through and mini games show clips unlocks and more. Lots of fun and replay ability, my favorite character you unlock is has delgaldo. I had a hard time finding a copy used or new, I ended up finding a new copy for $12 right before christmas it was the only one left.

Cartoon Network Punch Time Explosion
This game is basiclly a copy of SSB series from Nintendo , but PTE , is basiclly simple , the story mode is a beat em up with CN characters like Ben 10 , Samurai Jack and more , its simple , repetitive and with boss fights , the story mode is for 4 hours and then you have other modes like Arcade , training , and more , but they are so simple and the gameis basiclly a bad copy of SSB , I try to enjoy it , but CN PTE is not good at all

Super Smash Brothers with Story Mode.
Remember in Super Smash Bros how story mode was pretty much arcade mode? This game includes an actual storyline, with games and mini-games so it's not just the rinse and repeat fighting 24/7. Also, each character has about 6-8 unique attacks and a signature special. On top of the fact you get 8 extra characters from the DS version (Johnny Bravo, Hoss DelGado, Aku, Scotsman, Toilet-nator, Young Ben, Kevin 11, and Him) there's also characters you find through picking up assists (random mystery boxes) I don't want to spoil anything in this review, but if you're a CN fan like me and grew up with some of the older cartoons on here, and also were a big Smash Brothers player like myself, you HAVE to pick up this game. Cons: - No Online Multtiplayer (I didn't mind too much, have a few people in real life to play with) - No Voice Acting (The characters stick to giggling, a signature phrase, or some kind of noise everytime they talk and the dialog is being display. The only person who gets to talk for an extended period of time is the narrator, who is pretty comical and well-suited. - Some characters are under/overpowered. Let's take persay, Mac and Bloo compared to Hoss DelGado, while Hoss get's flails, bazookas, warhammers, chainsaws, fist projectiles, and an unnecessary exploding air-punch, the only specials that Mac seems to get is that he hurls Bloo around. This is not necessarily a bad thing (con) This makes me want to get affiliated with all the fighting styles/characters. - No Ed, Edd, n Eddy, Courage the Cowardly Dog, Finn and Jake, Mordecai and Rigby. We can only hope that they release DLC for this game. Since I'm a little over the age group of Cartoon Network, I hesitated on the purchase, yet found out later to be impressed with it. -----For $20, you can't go wrong with this purchase. It is a action/adventure beat 'em up though. If you haven't played Super Smash Brothers, you could still easily appreciate this game, but with so many similarities/addons it's hard not to look over to the n64 cartridge and make a comparison. It's far from a "clone" though. There's alot of different modes, descent sized storyline, and a virtual point store that carries costumes/characters/levels which keeps you wanting to unlock them all

Cartoon Network PunchTime Explosion XL
This game exceeds the expectations more than the 3DS version. Most of the rememberable cartoon network classic characters are playable like Ben 10,Chowder, Number One,Dexter,Mac & Blu,Billy & Mandy,Samurai Jack, etc. Also new editions to the console version like Johnny Bravo, Aku,etc. The story mode was decent but the final boss was just not what I expected, it was a letdown. But the arenas were fun, great character list, and more modes to play, and I recommend this game to anyone who liked the older cartoon network shows.

A Great Game To Pick Up
Well all I can say is I enjoyed this game. The story mode is fun, but short. All the characters are easy to unlock. The TV clips included can give you some good laughs. The game lacks online, but really, who cares. You get to play as classic Cartoon Network characters like Dexter and Johnny Bravo, as well as more modern characters like Ben 10 and Kevin Levin. The battle mode is fun to play and can provide hours of fun. Overall, the game isn't the Smash Bros beater like we all thought, but its still a great game to pick up.

surprisingly good
Cartoon Network Punch Time Explosion XL is a console port of the horrendous 3ds game , but don't worry this game is a ton of FUN. There is not alot to do but the battle mode will keep you busy. There is no online but thats not that big of a deal. The only bad thing was there is no ed, edd, and eddy , courage, or lazlo
