Lower your expectations...
Like most of the gamer-public out there, I couldn't wait to get my hands on the new COD:WAW. I was never a huge fan of the COD series until COD4 was released. The games were okay, but COD4 blew me away just like it did for a majority of shooter-fans out there. With that being said, we can now move on to WAW. Cons - Graphics: This game fell very short on graphics. I was hoping to be impressed with the next-generation of graphics. Much to my chagrin, I was let down. WAW has better graphic 'detail' than COD4, but WAW appears very 'cartoonish.' The damage done to players with explosives is very graphic (not for the kids), but it's closer to an 'Itchy-and-Scratchy' cartoon from the Simpsons than to real life. However, the graphic nature of death-dealing shouldn't be experienced by a younger crowd anyway. (The F-bomb is frequently dropped by other gamers with headsets as well as characters on the game.) Overall, I was disappointed with the direction the artists took concerning their attention to detail. The animated-look really distracts from the fact that you're supposed to be immersed in WW2. Cons - Story and Offline experience: The game is just as linear as before, and I don' t understand why every shooter has to be this way. It must be difficult to program differently, so the linearity is 'par for the course.' The AI foes are just as stupid as before, which is why this game should be purchased for online use only. If you don't have an internet connection, don't you dare buy this game for $** just to play the story. You have too many other games out there that you can get for less, and will experience much more for your dollar. Cons - Online connection: This game appears to dump you more often than COD4. I made no adjustments to my wireless router, so I should see no difference between the two titles. This is not the case, and I hope that in one of the next PS3 updates, this problem is addressed. Also, the game loads a bit slower than COD4. I thought this was only me, but I can hear other players complain through my speakers as we all wait for each level to load. At least I know I'm not crazy! Cons - Weapon realism: If you put a silencer on your weapon, your range is/should be reduced. However, I've noticed that half-dead players laying far away can hit me with their pistol while in 'last stand' mode, but my silenced rifle can not reach them. Apparently, this was an oversight on the programmers and should be fixed for the next COD title. If anybody has every handled a pistol, then you realize exactly how difficult it is to shoot at 20 yards, let alone take someone out from halfway across the level. Pros - Level size and scope: Check the size of any level on COD4 and multiply it by at least 2. That's how big the levels are on WAW. Level-size and scope on COD4 was my only real complaint. WAW is much more realistic per game level than any other COD we've experienced, as far as feel is concerned. The elevation changes, destroyed buildings, and beaches are refreshing, and much more difficult to master than previous titles. Campers and Snipers have a much more difficult time. While they can see for a healthy distance, the levels are so large that they may only have a few shots to take during each round. This makes playing as a Sniper much more realistic, and doesn't annoy the rest of the players like COD4 was infamous for. Pros - Camo appearance: In COD4, camo really didn't seem to help. It felt more like some Barbie game where you got to dress your character, but it didn't really serve a function. However, in WAW, camo can really help. There are a few levels loaded with jungle foliage, and you can't see your enemy until you are right on top of him. Sometimes, you have to fire your weapon at the blur just to see if someone is actually there. This is how camo should be used, and the WAW creators did a good job. Overall: If you like online gaming, then this game is a nice extension of COD4. However, the retail price is not worth the $*

The most best WW2 ever!!!
This game is all about history and something to learn about what it was like back in 1940s when the second world war started, and based on movies and books. I'm such a big fan of World War 2 and movies and books based on only WW2.

If movie the MPAA rating would be....
this game is rated M obviously, if a movie it would be rated
R: For intense gory action violence throughout, intense scenes viewers might find disturbing, excessive profanity, drug content, and disturbing images
Viewer Discretion is highly advised, this is THE MOST gory Call of Duty game in existence.

Not Very Good.
Bad game, repetitive and annoying, bad graphics, annoying guns, and zombies are outdated. Don't get it.

Best COD game ever played for PS3
Nice graphics, great sound effects and the most of all is the gameplay. The greatest thing about it is the 4 co-op campaign mode, where you can have friends jump into battle with you and fight together with other computerized soldiers in the game.

Best COD
This is by far the best COD made. It had an awesome story and the online was great. The best part about the online was it was fair! The killstreaks weren't super amazing and bullets actually kill people on this one unlike the newer ones. The only downside is that it is virtually impossible to play now online because of the hackers. Way to go guys. You ruined the game for the rest of us.

Decent
This game is fun if youre going for the original zombies OR the campaign dont waste your time on the multiplayer. Modders and hackers infest it making the game almost unplayable
