Cabela's North American Adventure
This is AWESOME
this game is the best hunting game that ever played. i have this game only for two consoles, the WII and the PS3. for the wii i use the gun that came with it and it rocks for the ps3 its the same but the graphics and the controls are different.
This game is not for actual hunters who are looking for a simulation. this is like all hunting games now days, arcade shoot em up. graphics are average and sometimes you see a dead deer with half of its leg into the ground. This is an arcade style gameplay, a shoot em up! your set in the these extremely small maps where alls you have to do is take a few steps and youll see a deer or animal. taking the shots is way too easy, point and shoot, it auto aims for you and even compensates when the target is on the move. if your like me, and loved the old cablelas game like 2005 adventures, this is the opposite of that game. the truth is there is no simulation hunting game out there right now. thats why im going to sell this game to get the ps2 version of big game hunter 2005 adventures. that game is a simulation and you have much more freedom in the game, plus that game goes into much more detail. that leads me to my next point, you have NO freedom in this game, you are set to hunt a specific target everytime and the hunts are way too easy plus who have a ten minute time limit to kill everything. the game will not take that long to beat, ive spent about 45 mins on it and im already half way done. the storyline is good, that your on a hunting tv show, and I thought it was cool that you could tape your hunts but the thing is, its not that great you cant see the bullet hit the target, you just see the deer walking, then a gunshot, then the deer falls. and the way the animals fall when they get shot is horrible. this game could have been alot better, but if your an avid hunter like i am, you will hate this game. Cabela's would make a whole lot more money if they went straight up and made a simulation game. in fact, if they would just take Big Game Hunter 2005, and put up to date graphics on it, i would buy it in a heartbeat, regardless of price. so if your a casual gamer that just wants to shoot em up, this is for you. Actual hunters should NOT buy this game
this game is goin to be pretty cool cause ive always been a fan of deer hunting games
