Well I really wanted something that I could take my frustrations out on, and thought a hunting game could do that for me. However in the past I have been a little hesitant as I have played PC hunting games a lot, and the style and graphics just never made it to the consoles. But with this game, they did a great job. The graphics are very good, and really makes you feel like you are part of the hunt. You hunt your way to experience, opening new hunting grounds as you go. The game offers hunts from Sheep, to ducks, to Bears. Some of the user interfaces are not the best, for example when fighting a Bear you can actually fight it off.. In real life, you would be Lunch!!! Also it's very easy to just shoot your target, but a real challenge and high level of points is to find all the bonus target shooting areas and then make the shot in the largest of all. In all I really like the game, and if your a hunter you will as well. Happy hunting and aim for the heart!

Most of the hunting games so far for the console games have just plane stunk. This one is a vast improvement as far as graphics go, coming in at a full 1080 on PS3. The game is beautiful and plays well but what it lacked was the free choice to hunt and do as you please with some of the PC based hunting games I have played in the past. Instead of this option you play as a chararcter racking up experience points to move to the next level or hunt, while unlocking extra weapons, hunts, and so forth. So yes I would recommend but some may be put off by the scripted style of this game as I somewhat was to a point. I am hoping that for future games such as this one, we can stick with the beautiful graphics as this one has, but make some of the hunts more random and unpredictable. That would be the ulitmate game for me.

When i saw this game i thought it would be cool. But it wasn't. I've played a bunch of hunting games before this is at the bottom of my list to buy. The rating is "T" for blood and violence. ( like every hunting game ) But is said nothing about language. And i mean a lot. Every sentence your hear it. I say don't wast your money and go get " History Channel Civil War: Secret Missions.

Nothing about this was fun. The game didn't even make it challenging. You don't track animals, they just straight tell you where to go. The mini games sucked and where all rip offs of each other. The guns where nice but very few of them. Almost completely Linear with no free roam hunting or anything. I'm a big fan of hunting games, but this one was awful.

Can't wait for this game to hit shelves. I love playing this game!!! My wife got all headshots and one shot kills on the last one. Not only do you go on a nature killing spree but you can get trophies on profile as well as in the game. LOL. Makes me want to buy a NEW ford truck for my gun rack!!!!!!

I had this game and it was pretty fun! This one and the Most dangerous hunts 1 and 2 are the best. The one that really sucks is the 2009 one I have had both of them and i regret trading this game in for the 2009 one!!! Overall great game!

Well I'll start off by saying I'm not a fan of this Genre of game but i figured "what the heck, I'll give it a shot" considering it's been awhile since i've played a Cabelas game.... Maybe since african safari on my 360. I must say i was surprised by how much fun the game can actually be, much better than the cabelas games of old. Graphics will be the first thing than will stand out especially on an HDTV, Enviroments are rich with color and foilage, and with textures that "pop". Shadowing is pretty standard as are animations. Sound is equally as good especially if you have 5.1 system but i must mention voice talent is sub par and sometimes the walkie talkie gets annoying. So i was happy to see they at least put the time and effort in to make it look and sound good, but what really matters is how it plays and the fun factor it supplys... and all though gameplay/presentation are not quite on par as the technical side of Big Game Hunter 2010, it was still good enough to surprise me for a cabelas game, controls felt natural for the most part, and nothing felt added on or "cheap". As far as Fun factor, it never gets old shooting one of the 50 or so animals in the game. Making the shot feels satisfying every kill, a lot of that is due to the fact that this is no run and gun hunting game.... You have to take the time to set up the shot and avoid the animal seeing you. Now that's not to say there are not some far fetched ideas in this game, a lot of laughable moments are there..... Stupid things like side objectives that cause a group of animals to run out right in front of you while you fire away... it does still try to hold your hand sometimes. Story is pretty weak, You play Jack Wild- some survivor man wanna-be who travels the world trying to reach "Super Hunter" status, it's easy to forget. But overall the game has some strong moments and provides fun if youre looking for a Hunting title, granted it's not an blockbuster title like uncharted or what have you, but it's still a fun way to kill some time.
