Product Details:

Brink is an immersive first-person shooter that blends single-player, co-op, and multiplayer gameplay into one seamless experience, allowing you to develop your character whether playing alone, with your friends, or against others online. You decide the combat role you want to assume in the world of Brink as you fight to save yourself and mankind's last refuge. Brink offers a compelling mix of dynamic battlefields, extensive customization options, and an innovative control system that will keep you coming back for more.

Brink takes place on the Ark, a man-made floating city that is on the brink of all-out civil war. Originally built as an experimental, self-sufficient and 100% "green" habitat, the reported rapid rise of the Earth's oceans has forced the Ark to become home to not only the original founders and their descendants but also to thousands of refugees. With tensions between the two groups growing, Security and Resistance forces are locked in a heated battle for control of the Ark. Which side will you choose?

  • Not Just Another Hero - Brink's advanced player customization offers a near-endless combination of looks for your character - allowing for the appearance of your character to be truly unique. As you progress through the game and acquire more experience, you'll have even more opportunities for customization.
  • Two Sides to Every Story - Choose to fight through the single player campaign as either a member of the Resistance or the Security and then take your same character online to play cooperatively or competitively against other players.
  • Blurring the Lines - Take your unique character online at any time you choose! Brink allows you to seamlessly move between your single player campaign, co-op with friends, and intense multiplayer action. Multiplayer takes the story online where you can play with up to seven other people (or AI characters) cooperatively as you take on the opposing faction or with up to 16 players competitively.
  • Play SMART - Brink uses the familiar shooter controls that you're used to, without frustrating, artificial constraints and adds a new feature: the SMART button. When you press the SMART button, the game dynamically evaluates where you're trying to get to, and makes it happen. Whether you're a seasoned FPS veteran or someone just getting started, you'll be able to make more intelligent decisions during the fast-paced action with SMART.
  • Context-Sensitive Goals and Rewards - Objectives, communications, missions, and inventory selection are all dynamically generated based on your role, your condition, your location, your squad-mates, and the overall status of the battle in all gameplay modes. You'll always know exactly where to go, what to do when you get there, and what your reward will be for success.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love it! I love the multiplayer, the shooting, and the EVERYTHING. This game is boss! Wish it wasn't animated though.

Rated 1 out of 5 by from HORRIBLE Worse game ever, everything from the graphic to the story is simply horrible. Don't waste your money

Rated 4 out of 5 by from EXTREMELY hard but good This game is a good game, it is kind of like call of duty. This game is extremely hard especially in the security missions

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Fun for a while Brink is a fresh step in the right direction, but lacks in many areas. It's very repetitive. And if you play solo, you will have to do everything. The AI bots are dumb and always go for the least important objective, leaving you to switch to the correct class for the primary objective. Playing online is the most fun you'll get out of the game. When playing online, teamwork is crucial. A headset is extremely crucial for great teamwork. I'd say buy it and play it for a few months, then sell it at a garage sale.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Brink... A game that critics hated :*( Brink was one of my favorite games of all time and to this day it still is. My dad owned it but he passed it on to me because he didn't really like it. Brink is kind of a mix of Team Fortress 2 And Mirror's Edge combined. It brings us Graphics from TF2 And a parkour system similar to Mirror's Edge's Parkour System. The game lasted for not to long though. The critics started doing what they do.. you know they do critiques and they gave Brink a bad review. After all those reviews came out... Brink was one of so little games to be killed softly by the critics everywhere. From That day forward me and my friend wondered why there was no one playing Brink. We did research and realized that the critics gave it a bad review. After a week we never played Brink again. So how do I rate this game. I give it a 9/10. Good Job Bethesda.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from hard but good I have tried the game when I rented it on gamefly and when I tried playing it for the first time it was perfect but it was kind of tricky when I played the final level for escaping the Ark but it is a good game though.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Awesome It is an awesome game, where you can customize your character down to the dead-eye knife scar and color of pants. Fast-paced and super fun. No regrets buying this game.

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Disappointing Overall, this game was a mess. The brain-dead AI makes it near impossible to do certain missions in the Single-Player, there are numerous glitches and bugs with the gameplay itself (i've had various lags and texture problems) especially in the multiplayer, and the storyline is basically non-existant i had no idea who the characters were during the cutscenes and had but the faintest clue of what was going on. I do have to say that the game had in depth customization and fair graphics to it. But, this game became a chore to play and made me disappointed that it turned out like so.
