Product Details:

The BioShock: Ultimate Rapture Edition includes the critically-acclaimed BioShock, BioShock 2 and add-on content for both games valued at more than $40. It also includes a trip to the never-before-seen Museum of Orphaned Concepts, providing a rare look at early concept art and character models that never made it into BioShock.

This premium pack is an awesome primer for those who have not yet experienced BioShock, but have already heard the advance praise for BioShock Infinite. The BioShock: Ultimate Rapture Edition brings the complete experience of this critically acclaimed franchise to gamers looking to explore Rapture before discovering Columbia.

In addition to BioShock and BioShock 2, the BioShock: Ultimate Rapture Edition includes more than $40 of add-on content for both games:

Museum of Orphaned Concepts: Take a tour of a never-before-seen BioShock museum and view early concept art, character models and more set within the halls of Rapture.
  • Plasmids Pack: Includes four additional Plasmids and Gene Tonics - Sonic Boom, EVE Saver, Vending Expert and Machine Buster - for use in BioShock.
  • Challenge Rooms Pack: Previously exclusive to PS3 and now available for Xbox 360 for the first time, the pack tests the player's mettle by requiring them to utilize the skills learned while traversing the halls of Rapture to survive three separate puzzle rooms in BioShock.
  • Sinclair Solutions Tester: Contains a number of customization features that allow players to further their character's development in BioShock 2 multiplayer modes and provides a deeper multiplayer experience.
  • Rapture Metro: Includes six additional multiplayer maps, an additional multiplayer gameplay mode and a rank increase to level 50 for BioShock 2 multiplayer.
  • The Protector Trials: Features frantic combat and fast-paced action designed to push players' mastery of weapons and Plasmids in a BioShock 2 single-player experience spread across six maps.
  • Minerva's Den: A substantial narrative experience that puts players in the role Subject Sigma and introduces new characters, locations and mystery to the world of Rapture in BioShock 2. Set in a new environment, Rapture Central Computing, Minerva's Den adds a gripping new storyline to extend the BioShock 2 experience.
  • Also included, is an exclusive collectable sticker pack from BioShock Infinite's world of Columbia to get gamers ready for the next chapter in the BioShock universe.

Originally released in 2007 and winner of multiple Game of the Year awards, BioShock is a "genetically enhanced" first-person shooter set in Rapture, a decaying art deco underwater utopia torn apart by civil war. Caught between powerful forces and hunted down by genetically modified "splicers" and deadly security systems, players have to come to grips with a deadly, mysterious world filled with powerful technology, fascinating characters and morality defining choices. To make it to the end, players can turn everything they encounter into a weapon, biologically modify their body with Plasmids, hack devices and security systems, upgrade weapons, craft new ammo variants, and experiment with different battle techniques. No encounter ever plays out the same and no two gamers will play BioShock the same way.

Originally released in 2010, BioShock 2 features an unsettling storyline, dazzling visual design and the evolution of the genetically enhanced shooter gameplay. Set almost a decade after a grueling civil war consumed the once magnificent city of Rapture, evil reverberates through the halls and a wickedness once thought gone forever returns along the Atlantic seaboard. An unspeakable series of kidnappings from local seaside communities by an unseen monster leads to the repopulation of Little Sisters in Rapture's failed utopia under the ocean. Players must step into the boots of one of gaming's most iconic characters, the Big Daddy, as they traverse the fallen city, fending off attacks from an army of genetically modified Splicers, while searching for escape and the key to their survival.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Bioshock is an instant classic This series is a must have, the game has RPG elements, as well as erie horror suspenseful moments. Graphics are still top notch to this very day, gameplay is smooth as well. This series is truly a must have. Play these two games before you play Bioshock Infinite. You simply have to get all three in your gaming library.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bioshock Is a game to remember The bioshock games never disappointed me, and when the second game came out I was very joyful. Bioshock is one of those games that doesn't necessarily require you to have played the first game to know what's going on, It's quite straight forward and they tell you all about it during your time playing bioshock 2 in rapture, If you like shooter games then this is for you. The only thing I noticed was that the first bioshock was especially longer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Great fun The Bioshock series is fantastic. I absolutely love the first one because nothing has been made like it. The second one is pretty good, but not as great as the first one. I still haven't played Infinite. I need to do that soon!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from First review and what not Coming from a person who don't like first person shooters much without a lot of RPG elements, I put this game off as a mindless FPS game. Then I gave it a shot and wound up loving it. The world is immersive and interesting. It has an interesting moral dilemma (saving the little sisters or killing them). It has multiple endings. I didn't like the fact that I had to install Bioshock 2 and it wasn't just on the disc as the first game, but I can uninstall and reinstall this at my leisure. At least it's on a disc that I know I won't lose. I highly recommend these games to everyone and 2 games plus $40 worth of DLC for $30?! That's a no brainer!

Rated 1 out of 5 by from RIPOFF WASTE OF $ I was trying to decide if I wanted to buy the Bioshock games separately (roughly $10 each used) or this collection new for $30. Took it home only to find out Bioshock 2 is NOT on the game disk but DLC only. So what this game collection really is... just a $30 Bioshock game disc with add-on DLC and also a downloadable copy of Bioshock 2 that can only be used with the disc inserted, taking up 22GB of storage total. I WISH I would have either bought the game discs separately, or bought them on the Playstation store, so I atleast could play the game taking up so much storage WITHOUT the disc inserted. To make it worse I can't return this and get the games separately because of Gamestop policy so I'm stuck with a bunch of wasted storage space as my only option.
