Rated 9.0 out of 10 by Game Informer.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Devil May Cry's Girl Friend The game play is similar to Devil May Cry. Instead of a male, it is a female with special abilities. The game is violent with sexually explicit scene, so it may not be suitable for children under 18. The dialog is not terrible but it is not great either. If you are a trophy hunter, there are many side missions to do to obtain high trophies for either system.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from So glad Nintendo's funding Bayonetta 2 I had only been mildly interested in Bayonetta until its sequel was announced, which looks incredible. I, like many others, have heard the horrors of the PS3 port, but once you download the patch and install the game, it runs beautifully. The gameplay is fast and fun, with tons of moves you can buy and alternate weapons you get along your journey. The music ranges from upbeat battle themes to epic boss tracks, always matching the action onscreen. The story's a bit confusing, but Platinum has filled the world of Bayonetta with an extensive and intriguing lore that makes up for it. Can't wait for Bayonetta 2!

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Bayonetta Bayonetta is a unique game that doesnt appear that often, and I would like to share my experience. The story is fairly lengthy depending on what difficulty, but their are alot of issues that keep it from being a great action game. The story is told between cinematic cutscenes and a script layout with a voice actor narrating, and I wasnt a fan of story. Bayonetta herself is a very visually impressive character, and other characters are noticibly pretty well done too. Enemy types are constantly changing, so the game doesnt give you that repetitive sequence in enemies and their are different ways to take them down. The game sometimes take a frame-rate drop and has very annoying load times, which is something I heard was only on the PS3 version. The loading times can take up to a minute, and really broke me out the experience. The gameplay is what makes the game really worth it. What makes Bayonetta to unique is that you can customize where her weapons are placed and this can lead to a series of different combinations. There is also a learning curve when it comes to Witch-time, which is something Bayonetta can do to slow down time to solve puzzles and fight hoards of enemies. This game is very unique, and you will have alot of fun with it, but it really needs alot of improvement. Hopefully whenever Bayonetta 2 is released we will witness a better gaming experience.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Loved it This game is epic. If you like the Devil May Cry Series you will like this game. The story of this may bet confusing at time's but sometimes the tight game play can make it all seem OK. Also, some of the cut scene's were funny and pretty cool. I was really surprised that this game came out kind of good at first i was slightly worried but i easily forgot about my worries when i began to play. From the tight game play to the original character design is amazing and fantastic. This is defiantly a buy for anyone who wants a thrill.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from This game is harder than it should be. The game started wonderfully. In game tutorial, angels were pretty easy to beat, and the story line was great. After a while the game got more interesting, more angels and other creatures which God only can remember what they are called. However, the thing I noticed is that there were a couple features in the game that were not useful. Not once did I look into the books I collected. And, on top of that the game got too fast passed. The story line was great and all, but probably 6 chapters to the end I had to go on easy mode just to beat the game. The game was so hard. At the end I basically battled the same creatures again and again and they were way WAY too fast at the end. Creatures were all interesting. Overall I had fun with the game, but it's not one I am going to keep. Again, way too fast, way too hard, and just went by way too fast. I was very happy with graphics and the storyline. I'm just sad I only got to use Jeene once. Also, some of the chapters had way too long verses or lasted too long. I remember one having 14 verses and I just gave up at the end. It's also kinda pointless to have to shoot faces. It's like it was created for dumb people. Fun, but silly.
