Batman: Arkham Origins
After reading all the harsh reviews, I was pretty skeptical on picking up the first Arkham game without Rockstead at the creation table. But after seeing how cheap it was on Black Friday, I said what the hay. And wow, am I pleasantly surprised. This game is incredible! It's every bit as addicting as Arkham Asylum was and every bit as stunning as Arkham City was. And the audition of a multiplayer feature should keep you gaming for a very long time to come. So do yourself a favor and splurge on this gem, you won't regret it.
i feel like i am the batman
I love this game so much! I honestly think its better than asylum and city! sure there are a couple of frustrating puzzles and it is easy to get lost and not know where to go but I highly recommend this game!
it was amazing!
it was so awesome!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bugs galore, way to screw up a great video game, Warner Brothers Montreal. I couldn't wait to play this, but now there are a couple of storylines that are stuck and won't play through, you can't interrogate all of the Enigma data handlers, infinite free fall means you can't land on anything or grapnel anything... list goes on.
Good batman game
This is a good rental game for people who are bored. Good campaign but after nothing. Bad multiplayer.
Arkham Origins is awseome
This game is awesome. It's just as addicting as the previous 2, a little short, and the graphics should have been upgraded from the previous games, but it was still immensely entertaining especially if you are a hardcore Batman fan such as me with references and awesomeness everywhere.
Beast and really good game
This game was very good, The graphics were different and better and better villains "spoiler" except for killer croc and bane. they were both to small and killer croc looks 10x different and bane is not as addicted to venom. Although the game was the best arkham game. My favorite villain was FIREFLY
This game rocks!!!!!
All the batman games have all been pretty good. i was waiting for this game to hit and i was amazed on the new map and how big it is compared to the other batman games. The graphics and gameplay are awesome! THUMBS UP!!!!!
this game is amazing. I was stunned cuz I didn't know whether warner bros would deliver on a violent batman game. they did though! it's tons of fun and a lot like arkham city. it's like an updated or more advanced version of arkham city. the graphics are good but slightly cartoony which didn't appeal to me but it's all good. some of the gadgets are like they were, but the new ones are very, very cool. roger craig smith and troy baker sound just like younger versions of kevin conroy and mark hamill which is also sick. the story mode is too awesome as well. I made sure to read the graphic novel, batman: year one and I have to say, the game delivers on that. this game is absolutely stunning and, especially if you're a batman fan or just looking for a fun melee game definitely get this. definitely worth it.
Very Good Prequel
I HATE prequels and games made by different studios/developers. However, I think Arkham Origins may be one of THE BEST prequels ever. It may not add anything entirely new; but it manages to maintain the arkham formula we all know and love. This game is equivalent to AC: Brotherhood/Revelations. It's not SUPPOSED to add anything new. It's purpose is to serve as a "filler game" until the REAL part 3 comes. Kevin Conroy confirmed he's starring in an upcoming Arkham game. Rocksteady has already confirmed the next game is coming 2014. I don't understand why Assassin's Creed and Call of Duty get praised in reviews despite the numerous installments released. Both those series have nearly 10 installments. This is only the 3rd Arkham game and it's being called "too familiar" and "too repetitive". I think the character development in this game is excellent. The story is fantastic. Batman and Alfred have realistic interactions and dialogue. The villains are great, and everything is "more of the same". Which is a good thing for me. I've spent 25-30 hours on this game and I'm only 35% complete! The main story is 12 hours long. MP is definitely "tacked-on" for replay value. Overall, I think it's a great addition to the series despite some flaws. If you want a good review, watch Jeremy Jahn's review or Rev3's review by Adam Sessler on Youtube.
