This game is perfect for: hardcore gamers

Assassin's Creed II was a vast improvement to the first Assassin's Creed game. The combat was amazing in this game, as you climbed up object and leaped onto a guard, you can also double-assassinate guards. The graphics were improved, but not too much. The sound was great, from the Renaissance music to the chit-chat by both citizens and guards, it was great. I could play this game from hours on end, with a rich single-player story that inspires you to be single-player, to the vast open-world filled with bonus missions and secrets, as well as things to collect. This game is by far the best installment in the Assassin's Creed franchise yet, outdating both Brotherhood (although Brotherhood was also great) and Revelations (though that was a descent game). I definitely recommend picking this up, especially if you own a PlayStation 3.

I played the original Assassin's Creed, enjoyed the parts I played, but stopped playing it because I wanted to earn Trophies. So I bought Assassin's Creed II; I now understand why the franchise is so popular. The game has so many missions and depth. I just finished the fifth memory sequence out of fourteen and I have done so much. There is the main story, but there are lots of side missions which extend the life of the game. I very much enjoy the assassination contracts because, well, killing is the point of the game. I am rushing to finish the game because I got Revelations for $20 even though I have not played Brotherhood yet. Oh well. Anyways, Assassin's Creed is a great franchise which is why they will continue to produce the games.

This game is perfect for: casual gamers

When I opened the package of Assassin's Creed 2, I was excited to see a new assassin as the main character. When I popped it in the system, though, I saw it's minor and major flaws. One of the dumbest flaws is that when you are chasing a dude and you get stuck in a wall. I hate that! Most of all, the game is kinda long, and with my busy life, I don't have the time to complete the game. But, despite it's stupid flaws, it's a cool game to have.

This game is perfect for: casual gamers

the game is one of the best i ever played it has an original story line and really cool missions. I can't say a lot because i haven't played mych. I only got this game 3 days ago. But its spectaculer. unlike the 1st its missions aren't repetive. its graphics are cunning and so are the controls. the one complaint i have is at the beginning of the game with dezmond. at first the missions seem stupid and pointless but it eventually makes sense once you play as ezio. so overall its a really a good game. even if the climbing isn't as good as infamous, the climbing looks like it makes sense, not like in infamous when he jumps on the wall and theres nothing to hold on to he can still climb, which is really stupid. so get the game and live the legacy of assassins :D

This game is perfect for: casual gamers

When I first picked up this game it was suspenseful and spectacular. In AC 1 you couldn't dye your clothes and change your weapons and upgrade them. It's very detailing in graphics and stuns you of how good it looks. You get different items besides your weapons from AC 1. This game has a lot of Variety and Action. You go to running on rooftops to stalking your target for assassination. But if you're going to buy this game without playing AC 1 you understand a lot so I highly recommend you do.
