This game has a lot of romantic character development between the 2 sets of heroine and hero. The plot I felt bored with, and would skip major parts of the story, because it kept repeating itself over and over again. The synthesis of items was funny, but I never used a single item in the entire game. The difficulty of battles is ridiculously easy, and by the time you have the best song magic in the game, you will crush 50 chains of enemies without even trying. Genometrics focused too much on the NPCs and I honestly couldn't find much about them to get enthralled with. All in all, if you are looking for an easy JRPG with a save the world mentality, that combines some synthesis, and fan service with a few naughty pictures in Genometrics, I say go for it. But honestly you'd have more fun replaying Ar Tonelico 2 in my opinion.

I've played all of the ar series with the exception of surge concerto and I'm really pumped. When I first heard about the game coming to NA I was ecstatic, but sad because there is only two party members in battle, so I wasn't sure if it would have enough variety for me. Eventually I told myself that I should give it a chance and pre-ordered it just the other day. I'm confident this will be money well spent as this is apart of one of my favorite series.

Wow, I had no idea that there was a new entry into the Ar Tonelico series in the works. I played the first one that came to PS3, and while it was a nice game, the battle system was very underwhelming. I'm happy to see that they went back to the battle style of the original PS2 games! I can't wait to give this one a try.
