I needed a blu-ray player and a new gaming console, this is a really nice console. Yes, I liked my Xbox, but this goes a little deeper down the rabbit hole, with it's performance in both games and streaming video. I guess I was a PS2 fan for a long time and well, I guess after a while the worm turned, I saw the $199 deal for the PS3 160 GB and I had to do it. A blu-ray player and serious game console all in one, how can you lose?

Online for this sucks. Yes it is free but unlike xbox the playstation network gets hacked very easily. I played mw2 on it and 10 straight games ppl were hacking for example one game the whole other team were walking as vehicles. rpg killing them wont work, knife no, bullets no, even the flashbang had no effect. Microsft's bundle is rated better it does cost 60 dollars to play a year but its more secure and better graphics plus gameplay. I would even buy the wii over this.

This particular bundle is a good deal. An extra controller (used, like $40 value) and an HDMI cable (anywhere from $10-$50). And a console worth $250. For parents or anyone looking to buy a gaming console this is well worth your money. I have played all three major consoles but have only owned a ps3. I would only reccomend the ps3 more than the others because of the free online, and the fact that I don't notice a whole lot of difference between the playing experience between this and the other consoles. The exclusive titles for each console are nice, you'll just have to research for yourself which ones you think you would like better. I like Infamous, but I would have loved to be able to play Halo. Another nice thing about the ps3 is the bluray player. So overall, I don't think you can make a wrong choice when buying a gaming system. It depends on your own personal preference, but I have never had a problem with my ps3 (I own a slim one and a 6 year old fat one), I use the blu ray player often, and I don't pay $50 a year to play online.

This deal is too good to be true! A PS3 slim ($250.00) with an extra dualshock controller ($60.00 brand new or $40.00 used) a HDMI cord (usually like $20.00) so that's a heck of a deal!!! Who was the moron that said XBOX 360 graphics are better than PS3? If you knew anything about both systems that their graphics are on par with each other but the PS3 has 8 prossessing cores compared to the 360's 3 cores so technically the PS3 could blow the 360 out of the water.

The Ps3 has recently gotten much better games, and the new price makes it a fairly good bargain, but this system is still far from being the best way to game, let alone the best system. Sure, it has some exclusive games like Little Big Planet, Killzone series, uncharted, but those arent enough of a reason to get a system. Most of the exclusive titles are fairly boring, and lets face it, the 360 has more, better, exclusive titles.
