Playstation 3 250GB system Black Friday Bundle
BEST PS3 BUNDLE OUT THERE!!!!
I bought this bundle on Black Friday for the stellar price of $199.99 and I have absolutely no regrets about it. In my opinion it's the absolute best gaming bundle you can get for under $200. You get two well praised triple A titles, that still retail for $50+ each, a 250GB "Super Slim" PS3 and a 30 day trial to PlayStation Plus. Do yourself a favor and buy this bundle, if you can still find it that is.
I love it
I got home and unboxed it and I loved it. With two amazing games and a 250GB hard drive it's a great deal.
This is literally the best PS3 bundle that is out at this time around. $199.99 and you get a slim 250GB PS3 with 2 amazing games.
Excellent Deal, Perfect Price
When I purchased the Playstation 3: Black Friday Bundle, I was a bit skeptical about the functionality of the system due to my history with buying Great Priced systems, they'd always go haywire, however this system, coming along with The Last of Us and Batman Arkham Origins(I also bought Call of Duty Ghosts) and they both worked great, same as the system, and for a excellent price!
An Awesome Product
Best I have ever seen two awesome games comes with a hdmi cable finally. Has awesome features sweet system and controller would highly recommend to others.
BEST PS3 BUNDLE EVER
200.00$ Can't beat that and The Last of Us is incredible.Sorry for the people that missed out on this one.
This is A great bundle two great games and A good system. If you want to beta test the ps4 go for it .
Newer PS3 models feel and look cheap.
First, I have to say Gamestop was really quick and efficent about shipping. I bought this online near the end of the Black Friday weekend sale on that Sunday and UPS dropped it by Wednesday. I only chose the standard shipping and it went from Kentucky to New York in two days. Kudos to them. It was well packed as well - a secure shipping.
Now I bought this system to replace my previous older fat PS3 which has been experiencing the "yellow light of death" start-up issues. Technically it still works, but a pain to get it started so I figured I would jump on this deal as it looked like the best value for the money.
I knew I was going to get one of the newer "slim" models, but I never looked at them previously. I gave it a good test run and loaded all my previous games and saves. It has a nice sized hard drive at 250GB (why would anyone want a 12GB model is beyond me). It comes with the usual controller and cords which fine too.
I am concerned about the disc player. It feels and looks really cheap. I'm glad I don't have little kids handling it as the sliding cover over the disc player looks fragile. It doesn't have the insert/eject function like the older fat models. The disc player portion works more like an old Sony Discman. This model also has a louder fan and noiser disc function compared to older models. There's no on/off switch on the back so it's a "vampire" device and not really energy saver friendly unless you want to unplug it when not in use. I also could not get the remote for the previous PS3 to work at all with this newer model. I probably have to buy a new one that is compatible.
As for the two bundled games - it's a shame they come in cardboard sleeves and not the regular games goxes. I'll have to find empty boxes for proper storage. I wish Sony could have made a little more effort and include actual cases for the games. The cardboard sleeves also are marked "not for resale" which is a shame. I wanted to play "Last of Us", but I don't care two figs for the new Batman game. I was hoping to trade that at Gamestop for something else, but I doubt they'll take it.
You also get a "free" month of Playstation Plus (with valid credit card information) so make sure you cancel it in time before it's over if you do not want to continue or it will autocharge you for another month.
Overall, the bundle is still the best value for the money for a new system and so far it works well without issues, but I wish it was of a sturdier construction. I still might send my older model to a third-party repair service to hopefully fix it. In the meantime, I can settle for this one to continue playing my current favorites.
the system is amazing and the games are too the only negative was that the games didnt come in their cases they came in paper boxes. Also the games did not come with a manual so starting off was hard.
the system is not to good
the ps3 is probably the worst system that sony has made. but it can play blue ray the graphics are some what good but not even close to XBOX
