Product Details:

Call of Duty®: Black Ops II Apocalypse marks Treyarch and Activision's fourth and final DLC map pack for Call of Duty®: Black Ops II, capping-off the year with two all-new Multiplayer Maps, two re-imagined fan-favorite Multiplayer classics, and an alternate-reality Dieselpunk Zombies experience that transports players to the undead-infested trenches of a World War I battlefield.

  • Pod: A failed utopian community from the 70's has left stacks of dilapidated residential pods nestled into an abandoned cliff side. Its residents long gone, the modernist compound now hosts frenetic combat as players must run atop the pods and navigate their multi-tiered interiors for a strategic edge.
  • Frost: Fresh snow meets explosive gunpowder in this snow-capped European city, where the bridge over a frozen canal separates it into two sides, requiring players to employ multi-level traversal strategies to outsmart and ultimately outshoot their enemies.
  • Takeoff: Though marooned in the middle of the Pacific Ocean, this remote launch site is all about the close-quarters combat, combining tight corners with open spaces for combat encounters reminiscent of the multiplayer map "Stadium" from Call of Duty®: Black Ops "First Strike."
  • Dig: Two archeological dig sites in Afghanistan have unearthed the perfect playground for combatants eager for hectic, unceasing battle, as this re-imagining of the fan-favorite Call of Duty®: World at War map "Courtyard" delivers two major chokepoints, a wide open layout, and raised platforms.

We were there at the beginning and we'll be there at the end!

With Call of Duty: Black Ops II Apocalypse, Treyarch reveals Origins, the most horrifying and imaginative Zombies experience yet. Players will be deployed to Dieselpunk-stylized World War I-era France where they will encounter the return of the four original heroes from the very first Zombies map, as well as hordes of zombies that have overrun trenches and fields, as well as the ruins of a mysterious and ancient location.

Unleashed after the Germans unearthed the mysterious new "Element 115," this next chapter in the Zombies legacy will explore the saga's origins as players reunite with an unlikely band of soldiers that come together to defeat the greatest evil the world has ever seen, using a period-specific arsenal that includes Wonder Weapons that harness supernatural powers, a diesel-drone and Mark IV tank, as well a new perk machine and power-ups - and that's just the start. Players will need all the help they can get to succeed in defeating the undead, as well as evading an unprecedented 1,000-foot tall robot abomination. In this stylized undead adventure, they'll need every advantage if they have any hope of surviving one of Treyarch's deepest Zombies experiences to date.

Call of Duty: Black Ops II Apocalypse is available to Call of Duty®: Black Ops II Season Pass holders and as a standalone map pack on August 27th, first on Xbox LIVE® (other platforms to follow).

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Orgins I bought this dlc map pack a month ago and I love playing zombies but buried was to easy, the original three maps were boring, die rise sucked jumping from building to building, and mob of the dead was a little easy also. When I got this I started playing orgins and it was awesome best experience of zombies I have had ever.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from AN EPIC ENDING TO AN EPIC DLC SEASON Apocalypse is the fourth and final map pack for black ops 2 and is one of the best. Frost is a frozen over town in Amsterdam and it may be just me but I hate this map. there are 2 windows by B where people constantly camp and the spawn when they are camping here are all messed up. there are also lots of random instant death spots. one time in S&D I was being shot so I tried to duck under the bridge under a beam and the water wasn't frozen and I fell through. But besides that this map has a rather interesting layout that I like. The bridge is really fun to be on and serves as a decent vantage point. Takeoff is a remake of the fan favorite DLC map stadium and is my favorite of this map pack. instead of being a hockey stadium, Takeoff is a futuristic space shuttle launch station in the middle of the Atlantic. The layout is basically the same as studio with 2 buildings to the left and right of B boasting very good vantage points and lines of sight. I prefer the A spawn because the building is the best to set up in however it has multiple ways of getting in. Dig is a remake of courtyard from world at war and it's probably the smallest map in the game. you can through a frag from A to C. this small map has very tight corners so pre firing is a good tactic. One cool thing I like is that you can climb on the large mounds of rock to see over the whole map and pick people off. B is smack dab right in the middle and is hectic beyond belief. A long line of sight is to the left of the A spawn is a good place to rush in on B. the final map of this pack is Pod. Pod is a pretty good map. this is a abandoned utopia and is actually pretty fun. multiple lines of sight, lots of pathways and endless action are in this map. Just like dig, B is right in the middle of the map. this is my 2nd favorite map in this pack and it will always be cool. Origins is the final zombie map and the name says it all. you are put in the middle of WW1 and the original zombie team is searching for element 115 in northern France. Richthofen, Dempsey, Takeo and Nikolai all return in their younger forms. there are so many different things about this map that is hard to explain it all. new starting pistol, new weapons, new perk machine, new bosses, and new secrets are found so lets get started. The Mauser is the new starting pistol and I like it better than the M1911. To turn on the power you must traverse the map and activate six generators and they activate the box and different perks. a shovel is available at the start to dig up money, weapons a live grenade which can hurt you or the new drop, zombie blood. Zombie blood is when your face turns into a zombie face and they ignore you giving you an escape or easy kills. new weapons include the ballista, KSG, Scar and the new LMG, the MG08. the elemental staffs make a debut and they are amazing. there is fire, electricity, ice and wind. fire is by far my favorite. the new perk isn't actually a perk it is basically a mystery box for perks. for 1500 points, you can buy it and get a random perk. will you get deadshot or favorites like juggernog or PHD flopper. the panzer soldat is the boss and is one tough guy. He can grab you, burn you or just slap you in the face when you kill him you get a staff part. what is cool about the ice staff in particular is you can only get it while the snow is falling. electric is only available when the power generators are active and so on. the PAP camo is a sick ice blue and is the best. also 3 1000 foot tall robots stomp the landscape and is an instant kill if stepped on there is one that doesn't add up. the Germans are trying to find the element 115 but why don't they use the robots. so overall apocalypse is a perfect ending to the BO2 DLC packs.
