PS3 Wireless RockCandy Controller
Works just fine if you have a little patience.
First off, before you guys whine about how it doesn't work, pick it up and HOLD down the home button for a few seconds. There. Problem solved. Still doesn't turn on? Ok, it's a bum deal. Take it back. Moving on, my boyfriend picked one of these up for me on a whim after a game we previously bought to play together had been collecting dust for months because we never bothered to get a second remote. So he brings this home, I crack open the package and find it needs batteries. Ok, fine, not a huge deal, I can live with that. I just might have to get some rechargeables at some point. I plug in the receiver, hit the home button, it turns on. Huzzah. I goof off on Disney Infinity for a couple hours with no problems whatsoever. I actually find that I enjoy using this remote more than the original sony one. Boyfriend tries it for a bit and comes to the same conclusion. So other than the battery thing (and not being able to turn the system on and off with it but seriously just get off your backside and turn the thing on), this remote's pretty sweet (no pun intended). Well worth the money, considering everything craps out eventually, even 1st party equipment. So I'd rather shell out twenty or thirty bucks than, fifty, sixty, seventy plus.
you are not saving anything buying this
i bought this controller because my dualshock was tweaking out randomly when i play. i bought this at gamestop and i played 3 games of blackops and 2 games of madden and the controller allready started tweaking out. I am very dissapointed in this product and would not reccomend it to anyone.if you dont know what i mean by tweaking out it means that when you are not holding or pressing any buttons and the controller just starts pressing random buttons repetitively on the inside. i bought this controller because i was being cheap but i learned my lesson
It is aweful
The controller looks and feels great. It is smaller than normal controllers which can be a plus. However, it takes AA batteries and it sucks the juice dry very quickly. It also shuts off randomly while in game. If you are a serious gamer and play shooters or any other competitive online games, DO NOT BUY THIS CONTROLLER.
DO NOT BUY THIS
I was given this controller for Christmas. It takes AA batteries and uses them very quickly. The design is great. Feels good, but is hard to play with. If you play fps or competitive games online it is hard. Just use your regular dualshock or sixaxis. When playing fps you can move the analog stick a little with the regular remote and with the rock candy it will move him to much.
