by texas832houston Great Value!
I have owned various bluetooth/wireless headsets since i started playing Shooter games. I have The turtle Beach headsets, which i thnk are great, but for $100 this headset is an excellent buy. The design is cool looking, the fit is comfortable for extended play, the simplicity of use is great. It may not be as customizible as other, more expensive headsets i own. but overall this is a great headset. And $100 is still not cheap for a headset you only use for gaming or chat on your PC. I like this and would definitely buy another like it.

by DiceMan0123 They are the best bang for ur buck!!!
They are a great pair of headsets u cant beat wireless. The good things about them is great price sound clear and crisp. The bad things about the is that they are not that loud reason why is it do sent come with am amp to power it. it gust comes with the headset and wireless usb for the headset to sync to ur PS3. That means that the PS3 uses its own surround sound settings. So the would be easy for that user. NOT LOUD ENOUGH LIKE MY tritons headset.

Rated 10 out of 10 Great headphone for the price!
It's clear that Sony put a great deal of thought into this. The simulated 7.1 surround sound is nice and you can definitely tell a difference when you turn it off. They are not blow you out of your seat awesome but they sound very good in the games I have used them with so far. You can quite the mic chatter so that you can barely hear others but they can still hear you. The design looks very durable. Its comfortable, it's light weight and Retractable mic. I like how they did the power button, they seem to charge quickly, and battery life is okay. They are literally plug and play — zero configuration. They also have an on screen display in the upper right of the screen that shows the surround mode they are in as well as battery charge from 1-3. The menu shows up when you turn them on or if you just tap the power button at any time. The wireless feature works well on your PS3, PC or MAC. The range isn't super great, but it covers a reasonable area. Overall I would recommend this headset.

I usually dislike big headsets so I never thought to try them but I got them as a gift and I was kinda worried until the opening sound of BattleField: Bad Company 2 came on and the bass felt great. First match I was under a helicopter and I could hear it in relation to where I was without having to see it. It literally felt like it was above me. This headset picks up on sound I never noticed before. You feel like you are in war. I usually can't wear a blue tooth for long because they hurt but this thing is like a cloud on my ear. The battery life is very long and I don't have to recharge half way threw the night of gaming, the setup is easy if you remember the whole side of it is the power button, also it matches the PS3 well. I invited three friends over to try it, all of them want it badly. Amazing sound, amazing comfort and this is coming from someone that doesn't like headsets! I can't game without it.
***remember the side is the power button. Took me a couple mins to figure that out.

I already have a pretty decent surround system but was looking for a good gaming headset. I've been researching other headsets like
Turtle Beaches and other high end ones, but after reading the great reviews here I said what the heck let me give it a shot. This headset is a breeze to hook up, the sound quality is great and the chat is nice!! For $100 bucks and them being wireless you will not find a better deal, trust me. However with all things I found a couple of things that I didn't like. For one you can't hear yourself, it sounds like you got your ears plugged when you talk. Next I notice that shooting is extremely loud and over powers every other noise. I've never used headsets before so I need to get use to them. Chat was impressive, sound quality excellent, design is pimp, and price like I said, these are a steal. Definitely the best $100 I have spent in a while. What are you doing still reading this post, get off your buttocks and go buy this headset!!!

First off. Just bought this bad boy. Jesus Christ, This is amazing. I can't seem to get a better quality then any other one. Worth the $100 Of course. YES IT DOES WORK ON PC GAMES. I tried and it works good. I tried this in BFBC2 and wow. I thought I was actually on the battlefield! The sound quality is 100% Good. Xbox's Exclusive headsets are just garbage. This is worth $1,000. Great priced. Plus you don't need to charge it much. Why? Because it has a good battery in it. You can control the volume in it from a dial on the side. That is a +1. I can't seem to find out anything better. The price is CHEAP. It is like you are getting a $1,000 TV for $100. The wireless is so great. I went behind 5 walls and it still had GREAT quality. Can you judge Playstation on how great this is? Nope. But This is the BEST Headset you can buy. Turtle Beach is NOTHING compared to this. For you Turtle Beach Fan-boys, You can't compare this. Turtle Beach is mainly for PC gamers. Plus it is WAY overpriced. Just get this EPIC EPIC HEADSET.
Rated 2 out of 10 by cheeseburger911 Interfere's with router...
I initially liked this headset. Good sound, easy to use, and comfortable. Had just bought MW3 and BF3 so my son and I were using the system quite a bit. However, soon after using the headset we noticed we were getting bumped off the PS network quite a bit. Thought it was the usual network maintenance or internet problems on my end, but then realized it wasn't happening when we weren't using the headset. It seems that the headset interfere's with the router. I did a little research and found that many other people have the same problem. The headset, which is wireless, runs on the same frequency as most routers, so unless you have your system hard wired to your modem I would not recomend this headset. In addition to losing the connection, we also found that it effected gameplay. Very sluggish and skipping frames when using headset. It may actually be interfering with the controllers as well. Either way, do yourself a favor and stay away from this one.

Pretty decent headset. But, it doesn't come with its own issues. I can definitely say I expected higher quality from the Sony name brand. Sound quality was decent if you don't mind a constant hiss, hum, or occasional crack. Your voice cannot be heard through the ear pieces, so you may, if like me, find yourself shouting to overcome this closed in feeling. I prefer an open air headset, but can tolerate this closed type is there is a decent sound stage; there isn't. Don't expect this headset to feel well made. It feels like a cheap toy. All of that said, it looks good if you like the design. It's also convenient assuming you can deal with the need to use an USB port. Volume is excellent and its fairly comfortable. Battery life is rated for over 7 hours, my experiance was just under 6. The most troubling thing, for me, was the fact that sound went out on it completely about 8 minutes into a 25 minute multiplayer match. I had to play the rest of the match with out any sound. I was forced to exit the game before the sound with return.
Rated 2 out of 10 by MercV2 Don't Buy: Dust collector and made for HUGE heads.
Starting with OVERALL FIT: You have to have a huge sized head for these to fit properly. My hat size is 7 1/4" and the fit is very loose which allows the headset to float and slip around. Also they are a bit on the heavy side and bulky compared to similar other branded products. PERFORMANCE: WARNING: THE LOWEST VOLUME SETTING IS EXTREMELY TOO HIGH. NOT EXAGGERATING. If that doesn't make this issue clear enough...you have been advised. BATTERY LIFE is horrible. I've been getting about 3 hours on lowest volume setting and muted mic. So, you end up plugging in the bulky USB cable most of the time, defeating the main feature of a wireless headset. POSITIVES: Nothing for Sony to be proud of, again considering other brands, the blue tooth connectivity is flawless and without interference (I've only used them a maximum of 10'). The ear-pads are comfortable. The sound quality is great, if you can stand the high volume. My advise is DO NOT BUY.
