Playstation 3 Tron Wired Controller
Really cool concept, really poor excecution.
This controller was really cool when I first saw it. I loved the original tron movie, and at the time I couldn't wait for the next one. I wanted this controller because I was a fan of tron, and because it lit up. The fact of the matter is that it is not well made at all. The buttons are not as responsive as normal controllers, and there is a HUGE problem with the wiring!!! The wire in my controller crapped out after about two months, and the controller wouldn't send the button signals right, making me hold down R1 when I was clearly pressing L2...
Overall, really bad piece of tech.
IDK about it but it looks cool.
The controller looks awesome and i loved the movie it was really nice and the controller looks like what they where in the movie.
Okay, but fails to do it's job well in some games.
When I first got this I thought was AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!! It was working fine untill I went to my freinds house and broutght this so we could play ModNation together but right when my friend used it the kart wasn't going fast at ALL! So I wouldn't recomend if you're going to use this al the time.
overall good controller doesn't matter that it's wired because it has almost a 15ft wire so it's not a problem only downfall is that after a while the buttons stick and loose speed
It is a failure of a controller
I got this controller cause it looked cool... which it does. But my I had to many gripes with this thing to justify keeping it. It's not wireless which is put bluntly, ghetto. You aren't able to shake it because there is no sixaxis. But the major problem that I had with it is that when I switched from my actual ps3 controller to this (i was actually playing tron evolution mind you) the game got a whole lot more difficult because I wasn't as fast on this controller. The analog sticks suck. This is exactly why I stick to Sony official products. Third party accessories are always cheap and a waste of time.
This is a good controller. Although the regular ps3 controller is wireless and you need to shake it for some games. For and example the Arcade game flowers were you move the controller to control the wind and the game Heavy Rain were you need to move the controller. So this controller can't be your only controller because of the games in which you need to move the controller. Other wise good product!
This product would have been awesome if it had adapted the wireless ways the Wii did. The 360 and the PS3 fall behind with their adaptation of the Tron remote by making them wired. I love the wireless Wii remote and was hoping this one would be as well, but I bought it anyways. It looks amazing, the triggers are a little stiff, its corded, but overall its not a bad remote. Although the price should be dropped because it is wired.
Ok its blue, what else?
I just switched from the ps2 controller to the ps3 dualshock3 sixaxis, and IMO the ps2 is way better, the rumble and vibration on the ps3 is very, very weak compared to the ps2. So what do they mean in the description, it features vibration support? anyone know.
Great controller that's appealing to the eye.
I'm a huge Tron fan, so I have been waiting for this controller for awhile now. After some searching, I finally managed to pick it up. Now, I have heard some complaints from gamers about the fact that it's wired. Believe me, it's not a big deal. The cord is long enough that you barely notice, and in the long run, you don't have to worry about batteries going dead or needing to be charged. The buttons and analog sticks all work great, no sticking, and the D-Pad is nice and sturdy as well. The lighting effects are nice, not too bright so they don't distract you as bad as the Afterglow controllers. Only real problem I found was the R2 and the L2 buttons are very very stiff. You really have to push down on them, but hopefully as I use it more they will loosen up. If you're a Tron fan or someone looking for a nice controller that's appealing to the eye and WORKS, then this is the controller for you.
Looks Super Cool
This controller looks awesome cant wait to grab one i love that its wired i miss wired controllers my only concern is how well the d-pad is made
