Story: The story of this game is rather weak. You play as Adol Christen the legendary red-haired Adol who is traveling with friends from previous adventures to an island surrounded by a "vortex" that prevents ships from leaving the Island and trashes most boats that get caught up in it trying to enter the islands that are protected by the "vortex". You end up drifting to the island after falling overboard trying to save Terra from falling into the sea.
You end up adventuring on the island looking for pieces of a mirror and getting caught up in the mystery of the Ark of Napishtim. While the setup is rather weak the game play more than makes up for it.
Game Play: This game is rather simple, but enjoyable to play. You run around various areas killing everything that gets in your path. You play through the game wielding three different emel swords that you collect throughout the game.

Well let me start off by saying I waited a long time to play this game it took me a year to find it but the wait was worth it the game its self was fully voiced over the graphics are good the action was great every thing about the game was great it is an action rpg with kinda a cool animation to it with a lot of story that even reaches back to other ys games you play as the legendary Adol the red as you start your adventure the game can get tough to figure out what to do next some times but if you stick with ot you'll be able to figure it out there is no character customization in this game which is fine the length of the game is decent ys isn't the longest rpg you'll ever play the controls were great I don't have any complaints about this game it has kept me coming back for more and if you can find it then buy it it is an amazing rpg worth any rpg fans time.
