SEGA DOES IT AGAIN
DON'T BELIEVE THE HYPE. SEGA DOES IT AGAIN, THIS GAME IS A CLASSIC. If you were a DREAMCAST head like I was and loved SHENMUE, this IS the game for you. To me, this is what SHENMUE 3 will be like and what it could have been like if they waited to release on DVD. This is not your generic run around and beat people up, simple, linear, without a good storyline game. There is a Level up system with exp points you gain in battle. There is a MAJOR AND INTENSE storyline that will have you soaked into the game, most games just don't do that anymore. If your not into a good storyline, go play GTA, that will suit you more. If you are a sophisticated gamer with good taste and know a good gem of a game when you see one, this is the one for you. I only picked it up to see if I would be "interested" in YAKUZA 3. I have been playing this game YAKUZA, the first one, for 3 days straight. It is very addicting to me. I am very much into the MOB and MAFIA type games and movies, so this one grabbed me right from the start. Would def recommend to anyone who like s a good RPG/Action Adventure :-)
Amazing Crime Drama Action Game!!!!
Just buy this amazing game and you will experience one of the best crime stories ever told in a videogame. You will be in the edge of your seat by the end of the game. One of the best game that I ever played!!!!
SEGA BRINGS US AN UNDERAPPRECIATED CLASSIC
Yakuza is just a fantastic game all around. Without a doubt the best and strongest thing about Yakuza is the incredibly well done story. If you're into mobster type stories with fantastic twists and turns, great characters with an incredible amount of depth, Yakuza ranks up there with the best of any novels. The story is that good. Main character Kazuma is a true badass with strong morals and makes for a wonderful protagonist. Also worth praising is the all around world of the game. It feels so alive, more so than any other game I can think of, with people talking and interacting with one another, people shopping, people running around and playing, people looking to pick a fight with you, people asking you for favors, etc. Once again, it just feels so alive. What's also cool is the more you fight, Kazuma levels up and you get to unlock more moves to your arsenal and they are actually all useful and not just thrown in there. EVERY MOVE HAS A PURPOSE AND IS USEFUL. Sweet. What's also incredibly cool is all the things you can do if you just want to hang around and take your time with the story. Want to see some beautiful women? Hit the strip clubs. Feel like spending some dough? Gamble in the casinos. Down on your luck? Buy drinks and have chats with the bartenders. Need to blow off some steam? Hire an escort. Want to make huge sums of money? Join the underground fight clubs. The variety of things to do is tremendous. Graphics in Yakuza are great, controls are spot on with a massive amount of moves at your whim but only a few button combinations to pull them off, music is fantastic with a lot of jazzy tunes and such that really fit with the overall style and mood of the game, and the voice acting is top notch. I really can't recommend Yakuza enough. Incredible game that hits all the right spots. I'll be the first in line when the sequel is released.
