this game is amazing! i barely got today and have only played two stages and i already know ill be playing this game for the next few months. Although the graphics are a bit mediocre, they dont interfere with the gameplay which is all the better. Also, sometimes when there are large groups, it can get a bit laggy, which takes away from the fun of killing all of them. other than those two flaws, this game is super fun. the chaacter list seems endless, the new characters are unique and crazy cool. another great feature is that orchi has a storymode and that you start out with him. i still have yet to try this out but im sure it will be the same as lu bu's storymode in dw5, you vs everyone else on the map, which is bound to be fun. altogether if you have always enjoyed the dw and/or sw series, this game is a MUST. i recommend it to everyone because it certainly pays for itself with seemingly endless things to unlock.

I like this game more than the first one they made it feel more like it's supposed to be it's own story and like it's a direct sequel unlike DW games or SW games where it the same game with better graphics and more characters. This one takes you to the events after the first game (I wish they would continue with a third installment with and empires and extreme legends expansion) and show the revival of Orochi which is cool and all but here are some problems I find with this game. One the characters don't look like they are from Feudal Japan or the Chinese warring era at all they look like American cosplayers. Next I find a huge issue with the weapons them being magical and all that Koei or Koei Tecmo I believe that's what they are called now, need to have these characters use realistic weapons that can actually exist and not fictional ones that seem like they are from a fairytale or something like that. Overall this game is pretty good the challenge is taken to a whole new level and I like how they've updated a lot of the things that I'm sure a lot of people had problems with in the first one.

As a fan of not just the Dynasty and Samurai Warriors series, but also the first Warriors Orochi game. I knew I was going to like this one. I certainly was not disappointed. First, the graphics: The graphics of this game are no different then the original game, or Dynasty Warriors 5 and Samurai Warriors 2 for that matter. Graphics are still a little choppy, but are still good for the Playstation 2. I wasn't expecting much of a change anyway. If there will be a change, then it will be when the series moves to the Playstation 3, then they will change the way the game looks. Controls: The controls for the game are the same of course, and I don't expect them to change. Which is a good thing because the game is so easy to get used to. I still have not gotten bored with the fighting system. Difficulty: This is where the game lacks. It's not that the game is hard, it's the opposite actually. The game is pretty easy, even on a harder difficulty. So new fans of the series will like how they are pretty much indestructible. Overall, the game is really good, with a good storyline and new unlock able characters new to the series, the people who buy this game are going to get their money's worth and will be playing it for a while.

Honestly I missed the bus on the first Warriors Orochi playing the game when it was way past due. But I have and do play all the koei games and nothing even comes close to Orochi. So yes I will be buying this game ASAP. It's about time they stepped the gameplay up though. Just a lil bit. Make it more sophisticated. I'm not saying i don't like the game but don't you think that u should be able to climb ladders, jump fences and rivers etc. or even let them swim? Or even bringing in the ideas of Empires where u take over a area of land instead of just battles? Great game tho. I'm still gonna buy it.

I saw online through searching that this game is going to be about the same, but with a few good addtions alongwith new warriors, weapons and abilities. Just a really good upgrade to the last one. I can't wait for it. I, for one, am going to buy this game because I love it.

This game looks so awesome I can't wait to play it. They've brought back the one on one fights that were in the first few games. There are more characters like the ones from SW2 X-treme Legends and new Orochi villians. This one looks great, can't wait to get it!

This game will be the best Koei game ever! Adding on Sun Wukong and many other gods and demons. A new story line, more characters from expansion packs, and an even more super Orochi.
Rated 10 out of 10 by R.Y.N.O. Awesome game, best so far.
I started playing the Samurai Warriors series about 4 years back, I bought the first one off of a used rack at a store because I thought it looked cool, I have been a fan ever since. Warriors Orochi 2 is a incredible game, the character selection is fantastic, the combat is sweet and full of action, the controls are smooth (although they are a little bit clunky when you first start out with a new character, but once you get used to them, they are great), the combat sounds are awesome, and the special moves are sick. There are a few down sides to this game however, not major ones, but downsides nonetheless. The first is the characters, I know I said the were fantastic, but some of them are just downright annoying, who wants to here a 15 year old kid say how much of an imbecile you are every time you kick his butt? Or how much greater a fat 40 year old guy with white face paint is at combat than you? It gets annoying. Another downside is the difficulty, in the games before this, if your ran into a crowd of soldiers, with 5 or 6 officers thrown in, there was good chance you would die, in this game I can run into a crowd of 200 soldiers, with about 10 officers in there, and come out mostly unharmed. The final downside is the fact that the game does get repetitive sometimes, I could play the original for 6 hours at a time (and did once, just once though, on a rainy day), but with this one, take a break every 2 to 3 hours, otherwise you might get sick of it quickly, unless your really into it. Now here comes the funny part: I have only rented this game, not bought it, I am very impressed with it, I had some difficulty getting into the first one, and that's why I never purchased it. With this one, I was able to jump right into it. I highly recommend you purchase this game if your are a fan of either series, but if your unsure, rent it, you won't regret it.
