Tony Hawk's Underground
Tony Hawk's best game
This is my favorite game of all time. This is also the first Tony Hawk game that the story mode is not with a pro. You play as yourself. A broke guy from New Jersey that goes to the top. The camera angle was great. It never bothered me. You could even change the view of it. The challange was good because if you wanted it very hard, there is a sick mode for you. There is also a begginer mode for easier goals. The controls were easy to remember. A new player can understand them fast. The graphics were preaty good for this game being from 2004. I found very very few glicthes. The interface was not so good. I would sometimes have trouble finding what I needed. The sound was awesome because when your axels grind rails, you can hear the true sound of those two together. When you ollied on grass or sand it was not as good of a sound though but that is not a big deal. The stats were preaty acurate considering Rodney Mullen is a beast on manuals and they did capture that. There are a lot of different pros to choose from in the game. There are a bunch of different people you can unlock.

Tony Hawk's best PS2 game
Let me start off by saying this is absolutlley my favorite game on my PS2. The camera never annoys me like in some other games I have played. The challange is great because you can choose if you want it super hard or really easy. I think the controls were great because anybody can understand them right away. The graphics were not that bad but they could have been better. The interface was fine its just that I could not find what I was looking for in the menu and it took me a while sometimes. The sound was preaty good but for example, if you ollie on grass or sand some weird noise trying to sound like an ollie on those came on but it was not a big deal. The stats are good because they captured Rodney Mullen's greatness on manuals. There are a lot of different pros with different styles to choose from. That is why Tony Hawk's Underground is my favorite PS2 game of all time and it should be yours too.
This game was great. It is kind of like Tony hawk's Pro Skater 4 but you get to get off your board. The missions are also kind of the same. The only thing is that it says some really bad cus words so I wouldn't recommend it to kids that are not 11 or 12 and up. Overall though it is a great game for $3. I would get it for $12 or less.
In short: the greatest game I've ever played.
Yeah i'm a fan of the tony hawk games (at least up to underground) but this one just blew me away. The improvements over the previous tony hawk game were just so huge, I could barely keep myself calm the first time I played it. The story mode actually had a decent storyline where you start out as a nobody in New Jersey to a skateboarding pro (yeah the whole start out as a nobody and become a legend seems common and overused in video games but tony hawk underground makes it work. The levels are much better than in the others too, with places like Manhattan, Vancouver, and Hawaii. I won't go into too much detail of the story or anything else (just find out for yourself if you don't own it) but it was the perfect difficulty (there are 3 difficulty levels though, I played on "normal" and it was the perfect difficulty). I want to mention the level editor because...well...its awesome. It is so much better than the previous game's one (you can finally put in buildings, houses, roads, grass, tunnels, ladders, and much more). To top that off you can add in your own goals like "skate letters", "high score", "tricktris", etc. I made loads of cities on park editor and had just as much fun playing them as the real game (there is something I love about creating thing...all games should have level editors!). I would write like 2-pages about it but I'm too lazy. So get out and buy this game if you haven't already. Did I mention that I noticed a graphical difference too?
I love the tony hawk series, i have played every single one since tony hawks pro skater. This game is great. The missions are perfect, have great humor and the story is very captivating. The soundtrack is one my favorites and the songs aren't so mainstream so everyone doesnt know them. This is probably one of the best in the Tony Hawk series. I would recommend this game to everyone.
For an older game, this was pretty good. I beat the game in two days so it needs to be longer, but it was still really good.
I love this game it's better now than it was when I was a kid. It keeps me entertained and the graphics are awesome
Overall an awesome game
This was a great game in my opinion if you are a tony hawk fan definately buy this game its worth 3 bucks.
