Good Game.
I got this game 2 weeks ago and at first the controls were confusing. I eventually learned them and then after that it was fun. if you have never play the PlayStation 2 before this is not the game for you. But it is a really fun game.

Somethin that could stir up the nostaligic feeling
I remember playing this along with The Sims: Bustin' Out when I was 7-8. Some of the things in this game can be considered as somewhat suggestive. I haven't played this game or Bustin' Out in a few years so I do not really remember it. It has a few cons such as some of the noises sounding a bit strange. But, I first played the Sims games on the PS2 when I was younger, and I did not play the PC Sims games until I got the Sims 2.
I'll admit. I miss playing this and the other game, very much so.

Make your own world with the sims!
The sims game is very good just it has a few "mess ups". First off the sound gets a little weird at parts, and has so so graphics. Lastly, your person is usually very strange.

It's alright.
It's ok, but I've seen better. I thought it was pretty good for the first family or two, but, it lost its appeal after. I recommend to all Sims fans. :3.

Great Game for Sims Fans!
I love this game. The graphics are so-so for these days, but for the time game came out, they are really good. If you want a Sims game that has a little more to do than The Sims 2 but you want to stay on the console, this game is a must buy. One cool thing is you have babies, children, and adults instead of just adults in The Sims 2. The sound was good and a lot like The Sims for the PC that came out in 2000. Gameplay is very good and you can keep busy in Get A Life mode which has a Story and Free-play where you can build a house and move in a family and just live their daily lives. There are also 2-player mini games and 2-player Free-play too. If you liked the Sims for PC this is a great game to buy, they didn't leave anything out, in fact they added more Create-A-Sim stuff and a new 3-D environment, it is a must buy!!!

Classic fav
I've owned this game since it first came out, which was quite a while ago. I LOVED it at the time and have purchased every Sims game for PS2 since. It is really a great game but obviously not as advanced as the others that have come out since. You start out living with your mom and have to do different tasks to earn skill points. Honestly, the worst part of this game is waiting for skill points to be earned. Your Sim sits there reading, etc. and you sit there and watch time go by. Even as you progress in the game and get more advanced items to gain skill points, it still seems to take a long time. Regardless, this is still a really great game. You eventually get a job and move into other friends houses as you get promotions. As the game progresses you get smarter, richer, and meet more people. It's a very basic Sims game, so I only recommend it for those who really love Sims games. I do!

It's O.K
A long while ago, I would play "The Sim's" for the PC and have very long and enjoyable gaming sessions. Then my mom got me this. It burned a few hours of my time, and I had some fun, but it just wasn't the same as the PC version. It had a good character creation, you could pick from hairstyle all the way down to what shoe you wanted. Although you couldn't pick your own PJ's, Swim wear, formal, workout suits, or underwear like you can in "The Sim's 2". The major downside is how you cant have 2 floor houses, and you needed to unlock create a house item's in "Get a life" (or story mode), whereas you don't have to in the PC version. I did like the fact that they did have a story mode, although really the only objectives are to get promoted. At the end of every level in story mode, your character will move into a new house with their room mate/spouse. Overall, if your trying to decide on what console you want to play the sims on, get it for PC. If you have some extra dollars to burn, this game will be suitable.
