No, don't get me wrong, It's really a great game! Just for a couple months MAX. than it starts to get EXTREMELY boring, I mean like where you start to fall asleep. It's all the same thing over, over, over, over, ... and OVER again. Nothing wild ever happens. Occasionally there'd be a fire, but nothing too insane. You than like never want to play it again. But than maybe a month later it starts too look fun, and you want to play it again. Than you'll play it, have a blast, think of new wild outfits for you're sim, give the most fun life. Than it all kinda repeats. You get bored. It's still VERY fun while you're not bored of it!! Insanely fun! I really recommend it actually. What I really hate though is the stupid fire code. It limits the stuff that that you can have in your house. If you exceed it, up comes a fire. Destroying the newest thing you just bought! Ok, well I think I'm done here. It's an EXTREMELY fun game, just don't play it too much. That's the bottom line. Buy it.
Rated 5 out of 10 by Josiah Kortje Where did the fun go?
Sims if a really fun game on playing like real people. You take care of them and do what you need. But thats only fun on PC sims. This sims for PS2 (Sims 2) totally is a failer! You cant have kids, cant have and up-stairs in your house, small lots, as long as few lots, you cant custom your character that well like on the PC games, not much wall and fences. Before I got the game I really wanted it baddly and then I got it and I was so excited but when I played it I wanted to get off like right away because it was that much boringer then I thought. The controls are pretty easy, the grafics are also pretty good, the realism is ok from real life but there can be some strange stuff, and the sound is pretty good as sound efects but the music is boring! =( Really, I think if you are going to buy a sims game try to get it on PC. It has way better stuff. I don't really recommend this game but I put it at 5 out of 10 for 50:50 on your chose because it depends if you like or don't like what I just described.
Rated 8 out of 10 by vin-_- ADDICTIVE AND VERY FUN!!
This game is quite addictive... I'd probably mostly recommend this to someone NOT going to school or has a hectic job. It's very fun designing your own character at the start and like if you haven't played it before you'll be eager to go to the first location or also if you haven't been to a new unlocked location. There's all these different needs that needs to be maybe 50% filled all the time, for example bladder, shower, hunger, and sleep. And according to what u set the aspiration to be when u created the sim they need to fulfill it. Its long, it has like 12 different stages which is maybe stages in Sims 2. The speed of the game isn't very appealing for ps2. I think the only negative about building a house is there's a fire meter that says when u have too much things on your property and well if you don't pay attention to it somewhere catches a fire. Overall I think it's a very fun game but not so fun for the loading time for ps2.

This game is amazing. Everything is completely realistic. There is only 2 flaws to that- you can be an alien, and people will pee on the floor... I'm a guy who likes playing games like Halo 3, and Gears of War, but I can play this game for hours. It's like living out and entire life! You can buy a house, customize it in every way and so on. You can make your Sim look exacly like you, or completely different. You don't start out with a HUGE collection of items, but you can gain more depending on the way you live your life. Say you throw a party and people come, you can make those people your friends or enimies. Plus, you have a number that tells you how close (as in how good of friends) you are to all the people you know. Oh, one more thing that makes it unrealistic is that instead of talking (any language) they mumble... Oh, the music- most people say it sucks, but I'm to bussy enjoying the game. It's really a great game.

The sims 2 has good graphics, I like how u move its really easy once u get the hang of it you'll know what to do and when to do stuff. I think that all the stuff you can get is really cool I have an all house,(meaning no place to go outside) I have a surfboard thing, guitar, a ton of cash and more!! Theres so many things to buy like fences, furniture, electronics, walls, and more!! Thats not just it you can make your guy or girl just like you or someone you like, know, anyone!! from kids to adults, to having the weirdest hair to the coolest hair, to a hat or a bald head!! You can make a house outside to as big as you want, and theres still a ton more to go!! you can raise a family, or just 1 person or kid!! the realisms a 9 of 10 i think it depends on the person. The songs are ok, I guess I always put on a tune from my pc or my Ipod and listen or I sometimes will listen to the music on it. its a really great game and if u like stratagy I recomend this for you. have fun with the sims2!!!! Oh and one more thing My favourite games are shooter games yet I still love sims2!!

This game is extremely amazing and lots of stuff to do like if you get bored go stargazing you could be captured by aliens lol fiddle fight the grimreaper and even cheat on your wife! lol but really this is an amazing game that never ends there is always something you can be doing on it and always have fun.. the sims are best with friends invite a friend over and run around a custom made house or run through the story the choice is yours YES RUN AROUND none of that stupid point and click things lol this is what made the sims for the consoles just alittle bit better. ALTHOUGH The Sims 2 for PC is a classic and every house hold in america/canada or wherever you live should have. this game was so intense until the disk screwed up for me then i was very disappointed and never got around to buying new one and i hate that......i do want anouther copy of it :(
Rated 10 out of 10 by Alien Queen 124 Not my kind of game but is very enternaining
The sims 2 is one of the funnest games I have played. The game is sort of like real life only with a couple of things that aren't human. Those things don't make the game terrible but makes us entertained. The camera in the game is one of my favorite things because it is easy to move, and it doesn't get in the way as much as other games do.The sound is clearly hearable. The graphics are nothing to complain about either. The controls come to new players easy but are hard when an old player put's it down. The character custimization is awesome with many skin tones including alien skin tones. The clothes have a large selection too, as of jewerly, makeup, and other things to custimize your character. The game features 2 playable modes as of the main story, and the freeplay which is bulid your own life with no rules from other people actept your wife.

this is a really good sim game mabey even the best. this game is like you in a video game. you make your own sim the way you like him or her. you choose his or hers clothes, hair style, pants, over shirts, hats shades, gender, pesonality, and his or hers appretiation. this game is very life like. you eat, sleep, bathe, go to the bathroom, play and more. you get what he or her likes. you can choose from electronics, lighting, kitchen wear, padding, and much more! this game will be the best sim game you ever played. you can also get many destinations to go to. this game u also have to take care of him or her. it might be challenging to keep his or her stats up but if you take your time and watch the stats your character. i hope you found this review uesfull.
Rated 8 out of 10 by Jhondafish Its good but...
The game is great and fun but there are a few major flaws. First of all the sound is out of sync with the picture when the sim does something sometimes, second, most of the time in fast forward the sim freezes, causing you to pause and undo the action, third sometimes the sim doesn't respond to certain actions (ex. drinking an espresso) which can be a real hassle, especially if it happens once the carpool arrives, and lastly: story mode! Once you reach the HMS Amore level in story mode, your sims platinum want becomes impossible! "Help Betty marry Nelson" Betty can't marry Nelson because he keeps rejecting her. All in all the game is flawed but fun, especially in freeplay. But I'm pretty sure you can find a better investment of your $10-15.

I enjoyed this game. I loved creating a home and talking to sims. But i did not like that thay removed some very inportent feachers from the PC verison. Like you can't have babys or permently die in this verion. It has personality but it gets repeditive. The graphics on the PC and GameCube verison were better than the PS2 port as well. The rabit holes are so supid! But I enjoyed this game. And would steal replay it but the PS2 died. RIP :/ So its fun. I just wish it had more feachers but what it is great fun so thats my review. :):):)
