Rated 9 out of 10 by ps2cheapoguy Great Game Overall
As a newcomer to the Syphon Filter series, I hadn't previously been exposed to any of Gabe Logan's previous adventures. However, transitioning into Logan's storyline and picking up where Dark Mirror left off was like easing myself into a jacuzzi. The storyline was perfect, giving Logan a taste of the single-minded plot of a D.C. hothead politician, and fighting against an old enemy, whose ruthlessness would stop at nothing to attain what he most desires. The graphics are excellent, varying from thermal vision, nightvision, and so on. The sound effects were spot-on, with each weapon accurately portrayed. After finishing story mode, players can go to mission mode to improve their stats on specific levels, and earn new weapons by doing so. There is a large variety of weapons to choose from, with guns ranging from the classic M4 Carbine, to the well-known AK-47, to the Israeli Uzi, and so on. The only drawback is that some of the hidden evidence is extremely hard to find, but this can be cured by using thermal vision, as evidence will give off a faint heat signal. This game will captivate its audience, and won't let go until you've played it till the very end. Overall, I'd give it a 9.
Rated 10 out of 10 by ShootingGameFan1 Epic game!
Syphon Filter: Logan's Shadow is just awesome. This game was more challenging to me than Dark Mirror was. The controls are the same as Dark Mirror, so to me they're very good. I enjoyed the story more than Dark Mirror"s. The environment quality for has been improved in comparison to previous games. Graphics are just terrific. Very responsive to the controls on every occasion. The sound quality on the game is excellent. Weapons on the game are very good. Bonus missions are very fun for anyone who enjoys this game or similar ones. If you haven't tried this game before, you have to. The new underwater missions are great and quite realistic. This game is a true stealth and shooter game. A definite keeper for me and will be for a very long time.
Rated 10 out of 10 by UltimateGamer22 Almost perfect
This game is amazing. It' has perfect plot and game play, perfect sound, and is always fun. One thing that is not perfect is the graphics but it is insanely close to being perfect also. Another thing that annoys me sometime is when you are trying to grapple or hit someone it doesn't react and you get shot. Another thing is when you shoot someone with like and shotgun and he falls and then gets back up and continues to shoot at you!!!!! That can get really annoying sometimes. But that dose not mean that you should not buy this game because it is awesome and those minor details don't happen often. SO BUY THIS GAME IT'S WORTH IT.

Ok so this game was orignally for the psp and it was ok but it is not a game for the ps2 at all. What made the psp version good mainly was the multiplayer (to me) the story was way to short I beat it in like 1 1/2 days and really easy. But then again I could be wrong it could be a really good game for the ps2 but i doubt it.

This game was originally released on psp 3 years ago, so it is quite late to sell Syphon Filter LS because every fan probably already has it on their psp. If you dont have a psp, this game is a good 8-9 hour storyline that will keep you busy for a while. I think this game will be the best one released on the PS2 this year.
