Best Game on the PS2
Star Ocean Till the end of time(Star Ocean 3) is a great addition to a great series with endless replayability. I personally have put in over 500 hours into this game and still haven't unlocked all the extra stuff from challenges and trophies. Great story that never gets old, characters that seem realistic and likable with varied fighting styles, and plenty of content to keep you playing even after you've beaten the the main story. This game is the greatest game on the Ps2 and will always be an amazing jrpg for ANY Jrpg fan this MUST be in you collection

Extremely Satisfied
I originally bought the game because I had finished the first and second White Knight Chronicles and was looking for a new, but similar game. At first i was skeptical, but as I progressed through the game I was delighted to find an equally satisfying story line. The voice acting was great too. But every once and a while one character's voice would be softer than the others and hard to hear over the music. Over all, I would definately recommend this game to casual and hard core gamers.

A Masterpiece RPG
For the casual gamer, this game may seem overly tedious, and way, way, way too long, but for the passionate RPG lover and fan, this game is an enjoyable escapade through many unique enviroments both familiar and strange. The graphics are stunning for the system their on, the music is wonderful, the story is complex and yet you won't get completely lost in all the surprise plot twists. The characters are endearing, delightful and multi-dimensional beings that seem like real people you would know. An interesting invention system allows you to create thousands of items, from armor to weapons and even food. There are new things discovered everytime you play it and different allies to make along the way. If you simply adore RPG's, then give this game a try.

Good, But Not For Traditional Or Casual RPGers!
I was expecting this to be like a "Tales of..." game in a futuristic setting, but that's were I went wrong. If you're into traditional RPG games with swords and magic, don't fret, this game has plenty of those and its a solid RPG. The game mechanics are a little odd, pressing "x" as the action button doesn't always work too well, you have to be directly in front of an object or person, which gets annoying. Dungeons are obnoxiously long and convoluted, so if you're looking for challenging gameplay full of enemies and only a few puzzles to solve, this game will probably be the best thing you've ever played! But if you're more into traditional RPG games, you may want to stay away. This game scores high in everything else: decent graphics, story, character development, etc. If you're looking for a dungeon -crawling, adventure RPG to play for hours, give this a shot.

Great RPG with tons of F.U.N!
This one takes the cake. OMG this game was soooo good! The story was sub par with FF series and Dragon Quest but it took a long time for the story to get moving after a few hours. The gamplay was so good very fun and easy to follow through. The graphics was very nice but I really didn't care for the faces of the characters though. The music was rock and some pop. The only thing that I hate about the sound is I couldn't hear them talk it was to low. Some of voice acting was okay nothing great about it. But this baby has a tons of neat stuff too battle trophies, you can play with a friend too in battle arenas. I tell you pick this one up you won't be like "man I picked up a bad game".

Fantastic
This game is great, it has a good story that will make you want to keep playing till the end . The beginning was a bad and slow start, if you are an impatient player who likes to get into things quickly it's not for you, but once you play for 1-2 hours you're hooked. This game does a good job of bringing SciFi and Fantasy together and would be a great game to get if you are a fan of role-playing, fantasy games.

Mhmm...
It was fun and easy at the beginning, but as the story progresses, it starts to get harder and more exciting. The story had its own twists and turns that made it worthy enough to actually be in the Star Ocean series and I for one loved the extra characters added into the Director's cut. What I didn't like though was the fact that some of the characters weren't as memorable as the others. It was like they were basically just there for you to use. No other reason than that, but, that's just MY opinion.

Great Game
To keep this simple it is the first SO game I've played ever and I loved it. I bought the game on a whim because it was cheap and used. Both discs worked fine and while i havent' finished it I'm workin the last level now. I give this game high rankings in style, game play and such. Anybody that loves RPG will love this game. It gives me that FF7 type of Feel to it when playing with all the different characters interacting!

Memorable game
I noticed a lot of people complain about the story in Star Ocean but I didn't seem to think that it was lacking or anything. Maybe because it was the first Star Ocean that i've played. I liked the idea of going to the past and being teleported through space to different planets and all that good stuff. I was able to see myself in the main character's shoes. From finding new items and weapons to synthesizing your own in things called workshops. A game guide really helped to find out what makes what and most likely the only means of finding out how to make the really good items. Happy Gaming!
