A great snowboarder
people here don't remember growing up with this but i do and thats what is gonna help this game out for the FIRST snowboarder game EVER that anyone has ever played it was amazing back when the ps2 was going and made it into what it is it lasted a long time i mean like 6 years at least before ps3 or maybe 7 the most 8 years how many consoles can do that not many the controls on the ground are great some so to responsive so you should fell like every move that you make on the ground you made it in the air you have to hold the buttons that are on the d pad in the motion that you wanna go into before you jump the story is the is no story so you don't have to worry about the next game if you didn't play the last one which is great and this is a classic i played this game either 3rd or 4th ever since i can remember and the graphics at the time were great but when if you were to compare it to graphics to now a days ... yea its still better because of one thing say it with me THE COLOR check out gears of war don't you wish there was alot more color then it was so before you pick up that new modern war fare game you might wanna try this game and bring back the classics
After reading the other reviews I just had to lol
For a year 2000 game that won racing game of the year this game rocked back then. There was nothing else like it at the time. Nuff said.
Very Disappointed With This Game....
Well folks, I think this just might be my first "bad review" of anything here on this web site. Let me tell you, what a low down dirty shame that I even bought this piece of junk in the first place. The game cover in the store made the game look fairly promising, so did the writing on the back, it all made this game sound like it was going to be something, was I wrong! Got it home, loaded it into my Playstation 2 system, thought due to the fact that it was a snowboarding game, it might be like the game Cool Boarders 3 for the original Playstation system, nope, nada, nothing like it. The controls are hard to grasp, the graphics are real poor, the sound is kind of decent, ect. ect. All in all folks, I recommend you save your hard earned money for something else, if you see this game, just glance at it and move to something else.
EA Canada made great decisions
An excellent game for a launch title. Lots of fireworks, sharp controls, many shortcuts and lots of big air jumps. While more would prefer SSX3, I'm looking forward to the reboot. More details in my video review below...
