Rated 6 out of 10 by "Jorge" Very Short Campaign Mode (But pretty awesome Coop and Multiplayer)
This game has horribly low amounts of Missions for "Solo" mode(this game took 1,280 Kilobytes of memory),it is probably because they did not have more space on the discs, because of it's online features(pretty much sucks, but the gameplay is awesome), Solo which you can choose which side you want, and it affects the weapons you will and won't get, and Coop(I tried to play by myself with it, but i think it's way better playing with someone else.) If you want to get this game, I don't think you should get it with a high price, but this price is great. For the 360 and PlayStation 3 the storyline is way different, with better graphics, obviously, and if you want to see more storyline from this game you will have to get Splinter Cell: Conviction, which is Exclusively on Xbox 360.

Very good game in the splinter cell series. It's certainly a lot easier with the knife, compared to pandora tomorrow and the original. And the OCP certainly reduces you shooting your gun off at lights. The storyline's good, it all makes sense. The hardest part is choosing which side to stick close to. I'm not usually in the middle... I usually stay near the JBA and if I get too far over, i'll just talk to Williams from Third Echelon on the CP. Just be careful which big opposing decisions you make. Sometimes it will stop you from getting weapons/gear. Just like at elseworth jail. Make sure you kill the fat guy, or you won't get a gun throughout the entire level. Might as well do it on expert, get a better rating... But don't over do it just to get the gun if you're too close to the JBA, because there's only one CP near the end. And getting through the security is somewhat easier than Chaos Theory. All you have to do is match up the lines... And you can exit if you don't make it in time without setting up an alarm. And the new thing about the map is the tracker. Now you can see where your enemies are throughout the entire mission. And in one mission, you get to play with Hanzo on your side, or kill him. It's bad if you do, though. Only do it the second time you play the level.

Rated 10 out of 10 by Ussocomfreak ONE OF THE BEST GAMES FOR PS2!!!
EVERYTHING about this game is great!!! This was actually the first Splinter Cell that I had ever played, so I think that it's the best one (that's on the PS2 at least). This game is one the reasons I thought that there was still something to the PS2. The graphics are terrific for the PS2, and the Co-op added and all new, and great storyline. Overall the game is an AWESOME game!

Rated 10 out of 10 by vlzgoirish22 One of the top three best games ever on ps2!!!
This game has amazing gadgets and guns. It runs very smoothly and has a amazing storyline. it is a really challenging game without being to frustrating. Bottom line this is well worth the money there are really no major flaws. If you like any Tom Clancy games or any stealth games you will love this one!

I played this game on the ps2 before and I hated it because if u get shot like 3 times than you're dead and that your pistol doesn't really do a whole bunch of damage and for how sam runs is just plain stupid too. so I would definetly recommend u guys to not get this game.

Rated 8 out of 10 by japes Fun, but not as good as the first three
Chaos Theory for PS2 is way better. This one, the gameplay is choppy. The graphics also aren't as good as Chaos Theory. If you want to play this game, get the XBOX 360 version. The levels are designed better, and the content descriptors are fulfilled.

Let's keep things simple here. The only reason i could see anybody not liking this game for is if they don't like stealth games or if they find it too complicated. So, stop wasting your time here and go buy it!
