Rated 10 out of 10 by spideys awesome 2.0 its ok but should be better
i do recommend this game to others because it has all of the fun people would like. of course people shouldnt judge a game of the way it looks i mean look at spiderman 2! the people look all buldgey and block headed but people still loved it. the controls are ok but not great. all you have to do is mash buttons and your good by the way theres way to many combos. Its storyline is ok but its to hard to follow none of the cutscenes mix together not even if you try trust me i tried and it gave me a headache!!! The sound is good because you can actually tell apart all the different races unlike spiderman 2 where it sounded like every skin color sounded like they were caucasion. Its long enough not to keep you bored but not to long to get you tired of this game. And it takes way to long for you to get the black suit but for some people its worth the wait. overall its a good game and its amazing so i definetly recommend it if you truely love spide!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Frustrating, it's just one of the good words that describe this game. The movie is good but the game is bad. The reason I rated it so low is because it's boring. The graphics are good, but the people in the epilogues look like Robot Chicken a little. Spider-Man 3 has 55 flaws (I counted them). Using the black-suited Spider-Man is the only good thing about the game. But if you over use it you kinda die. And you can't keep hitting the dead bodies like in Spider-Man 2. This is the worst of the Spider-Man movie franchise ever. Even Spider-Man 1, 2, 3 for the GBA are better than this monstrosity. It takes about 2 days to beat. It's not entertaining and not fun. Spider-Man the 1st is even better than this one. They even changed how Venom and Sandman became allies. In the movie Venom asks Sandman to become allies and Sandman accepts for a reason I can't remember, but in the game Venom has Sandman's daughter as a hostage.
Rated 10 out of 10 by Haught89 this game is a fun game to play
I will start by saying that this game is a fun game to play. Isn't that all we look for in a game anyway, to have fun? The game showcased a great fighting style. Great moves and move combinations. The spider man video game series always had great combo fighting moves, but in spider man 3 the black suit is introduced making the moves even more powerful. The graphics in this game were really good. The game has a great story line. The story in the game is really long for more action. After defeating the main villains there are gangs in the city that you can keep fighting and believe me that never gets old. You can also hear the cops so you can help them out with whatever they need. The city is huge so it is realistic to New York City. Things happen just like a real city. I highly recommend this game to anyone looking for a fun, but action packed game.
Rated 9 out of 10 by Hellspawn fun but could be better.
There are good things about this game and there are bad things. First, the story line is very similar to the movie, but the movie part of the storyline is really short. the cut scenes are extremely cool and well done! there are tons of villains in this game like Kraven, Lizard, Morbius, and of course Venom and Sandman. the environment is so big and beautiful that it reflects an actual New York City. the real pain is collecting all of those fifty stupid spider tokens to get the black suit. the graphics overall are cool to look at and keep you interested, however after you beat the game all thats left to do is bust up the rest of the remaining gangs and after a while becomes kinda repetitive a boring. Don't get me wrong I love the web head I just think he could've made this game better.
Rated 7 out of 10 by CBCKI The other systems would be better to play this on.
I like this game at the start, but then the challenge and fun faded away like dust. I like the PS3 version way better, I rated that 10/10. But this is strangely dumb. You fight good spiderman villains at least: New Goblin Venom, Sandman, Kraven, Lizard, Shriek, Morbious, and gang members. But on PS3 you get those guys and Kingpin, Scorpion, and Rhino. The graphics aren't too good, when someone's talking their mouth wouldn't even move at all and their shadows are just little circles on the ground. If I were you, get it on the PS3 or XBOX 360, or if needed, the WII is great too. P.S., the length isn't bad at all: Takes you from hours to days to complete, and the black suit is fun to be sometimes, but still get it on another game system.
Rated 6 out of 10 by Sam99 This Game was the Bomb.........NOT
Spiderman 3 is just like spiderman 2 with its free roam and story plots. The only downside is they did terrible on the graphics and it shows. They tried to make it like spiderman 2 because spiderman 2 was named one of the best movie game adaptions ever. So they tried to make it better by adding more side missions and tried to get out every flaw, while doing this they made the game worse. I would recommend this game to a spiderman fan, but this would disappoint them.
Rated 8 out of 10 by 1transformer awesome game
this game was cool the first time i got it was on psp but now i got it on ps2 the game is awesome they included other characters like lizard man shreik morbiouse and some of the characters like venom sandman and harry the game is cool but i give this a 8 because when you finish the game you dont have the black suit any more you have to find some things so if you like free play go ahead in this one.
Rated 6 out of 10 by gamer22 Not bad but not good
Spiderman man 3 the video game is the only spiderman game I own so i wont be able to compare to others. The game seem to be about shoveling as much junk into the game as possible without thinking about the story. The gameplay is good but not amazing or anything. The story line is loosly based off the movies. And the destroy all the gangs in the city thing becomes reptative. Not good but not terrible.
Rated 2 out of 10 by wolf_the_wiccan ...whatever a spider can!?!?
I will start by saying the only nice thing that comes to mind. The animated cut-scenes were wonderful. From there, I regret that I must say this game was a complete disappointment. It was riddled with technical glitches which cause you to lose a mission before you even move, to things as simple as not making the AI intelligent at all. I was especially amused to find that when you talk to someone (i.e.- after you save them or progress your mission by bringing them some 'key' item), it truly doesn't matter what nationality they appear to be, they can wind up talking as an Asian, African American (most prominently heard) or Caucasian. There are a very limited number of differing 'extras' (I believe there are less than ten different body types of people walking the streets of one of the most diverse cities in America), and they are not as graphically impressive as one would hope. As for the graphics on a whole, this game became a victim of the ever-dreaded ghost graphics, where you see someone's face at one second and then through their face to the back of their pixilated head the very next. To top it all off, there's no pay-off. I mean to say that unless I just received one VERY glitchy copy of this title, when you finish the extremely short storyline, your only option is to defeat the remaining gangs (a very redundant task), track down all 100 of the meteorite shards (just as idiotically tiring), or find fifty randomly placed Spider-man tokens to unlock the ever famed, black, symbiot-suited Spidey. I apologize if I have hurt anyone's feeling with this review, but as an avid Spider-fan, this game is beyond disappointing!
Rated 7 out of 10 by Cap1995 A spider-man 2 game with worse graphics
While the game is fun, graphics aren't as good in gameplay scenarios, but in cut scenes graphics are better. Storyline is better and is tied together better than Spider-man 2. Overall a good game, worth the price, but not as good overall as Spider-man 2.
