Shaun White Snowboarding
some like it others dont
its not as bad as a lot of people say. if you enjoy snowboarding/skateboarding/bmx/sufing games than u should give this a try. the graphics for cutscenes were great and for the playing graphics well they were acceptable. lots of tricks and skills u can pull off. when ur done with the game u can go back and get the crowns that u missed because if u get them all u can play as shaun. deserves at least a rent.
Waste of my money
this game is terrible the graphics are bs and the whole objective of the game is dumb. bad sound track too, there is none...
Worst Game I've Ever Played
I've read reviews and heard it was just over half way good. I had some gift cards with nothing to spend them on, so I bought this less then an hour ago. In the car, I looked at the back of the case, and felt like I had wasted my money. The screenshots were terrible! So when I got home, I put it in and turned on my PS2. The first thing I noticed was the graphics. I could buy a used system from the 80's and have better graphics. This game has worse graphics than for the PS1, Nintendo 64, and Gamecube. Controls are also the worst I've ever played. When he does a jump he jumps at most 2 inches. It tells you to do "Your best jump when you are at the lip of the ramp." I have no idea what "Ramps" they are talking about. There are only little piles of snow that you can't get any air on. Also, when your all the way across from a rail, it slams you right on to the rail. The camera angle was the only decent thing about this game. But, it could have been much better. I don't even have a clue about the interface. I just assumed everything was something. I really just don't know what anything is and what it's telling me. I didn't really pay attention to the sound, but it, again, sounded like a very old arcade game. So in conclusion, I bought this game less than an hour ago, and it's going back to the store tomorrow.
First, Shaun White Snowboarding is amazing. For fans of the old 1080 series, they'll be in for a change because of the increased level of realism in this game. The game has an awesome soundtrack including Cult of Personality and Ballroom Blitz just to name two. The graphics are very good for a ps2 game and really bring the game to life. There is a cooperative multiplayer and a versus multiplayer which really add to the game. The controls are very good with multiple ways to pull off tricks while using the r and l buttons as well as X, circle, square, and triangle which each correspond with a different part of the board. There are five total mountains and each one is very diverse with the environments and sizes. I highly recommend this game to any sports games fans especially if they enjoy snowboarding games.
This game for PS2 is horrible. Do not buy it! Graphics are horrible, game is so easy to beat, you are confined to a small area to snowboard, and I've only seen Shaun White once at the beginning. Go for the 360 or PS3 version, or don't buy it at all.
