Secret Weapons Over Normandy
Decent Flight Game
I'm a big fan of just about any flight sim games and decided to give this one a try. The first thing I noticed was that you have no way of putting your aircraft through a full roll in open flight. The story line of the game is good and the missions can definitely offer a challenge. In addition to the regular missions there are a number of "challenges" which are a lot of fun. There are a lot of WW2 aircraft available to be unlocked and completing missions or challenges will give you credits to upgrade your aircraft. The game also has a feature that allows you to slow time which helps a lot in some of the missions. I would give this game a higher rating if the aircraft controls were improved but it's still a fun game regardless. I think most fans of flight sim games will enjoy it.
this game includes a ww2 type storyline over in europe and germany and japan and the pacific, it includes all the older type of planes.it also has sounds of the propellers running and the machine guns r real sounds of a true gun,it is always keeping u on ur toes and making sure ur saving ur back and ur ppls back,it has a versus, and coop. two player i would recommend this game to people who enjoy planes in action.i wouls also reccomend this game to people who love action/adventure,there is also another feature,*spoiler*, u get to be in a ground to air gun at a airfield and also in a carrier, this game controls are pretty simple to use it has y and x axis press up to go down and press down to go up or change it, left to go left and right to go right
First off, this is an incredible game! It's extremely challenging, and very, very fun. And the storyline makes perfect sense. This is a very challenging game, and it's very fun to just fly around and explore in a mission, and shoot down those Nazis! It's cool because you're an American pilot, who gets transferred to fly with the RAF behind enemy lines to help fight the Germans. First off, you can choose you're plane when you start a mission; do better in a mission, earn promotions, upgrades, and new planes. The terrain is incredible realistic for the PS2, and the planes also look very realistic. The only downfalls are: there is no online gameplay, and you can get upgrades to carry 2800 rounds of information, and STILL get way over 500 MPH. Overall, I think it's worth the money. Good buy!
Loved this game
I played this one years ago. One of the better WWII flight sims I have played, which is why I just added it to my PS2 collection.
Flight controls were easy to master and the missions were entertaining.
