The graphics are good but gameplay and controls are terrible. You are always having to adjust the camera angle. Clank's "Clank-fu" moves are terrible. You come up behind an enemy and push the square button to get a series of buttons to push in the correct order in a small amount of time. if you are to slow or make a mistake you are out of luck and end up taking a lot of damage or you start over. What's worse is Clanks moves are exactly the same thing over and over. I think it would have been better without the "button mashing." Ratchet and Clank are a team and it should remain as such. I played the game for about 45 minuetes before getting thoroughly disgusted with it and put in My "Up Your Arsenal" disk. The Overall controls are good but you keep having to adjust the camera angle constantly. Clank's weapons are kind of neat. I might go back and try it again but I seriously doubt it. I guess I was expecting a lot out of the game but this was such a let down.
Rated 0 out of 10 by Sly Lover Yes! A remake of Secret Agent Clank!
Knowing the Ratchet and Clank series, I am expecting this remake to go well with all the other video games. Finally, us old-school video game players can play secret agent clank without having to buy a PSP! I don't really have much else to say. I have great expectations for this game and series, and I am pretty sure they will be filled.
Rated 5 out of 10 by gamefan4564 did not port well
there are games like this that should not be ported to ps2 from the psp. the graphics aren't great, the camera is bad, and the checkpoints are not that well. the fact that it did not go over a great port holds this down. but with the ps2 port of twisted metal head on to ps2, we at least know that this is possible, just don't get the ps2 version
Rated 8 out of 10 by Deveroni I really didn't like it I'm sorry to say.
It really wasn't all that of which I was expecting it would be. In "up Your Arsenal" you play as Agent Clank and it looks cool. But this game is nowhere near that. That little mission was a lot better than the entire Secret Agent Clank Game.

Ok, so first of, Secret Agent Clank is a improvement from High Impact Games, but it's still not as good as the original Ratchet and Clank games from Insomniac Games. Some people would perhaps agree with me, and others disagree. I really do think that High Impact Games made quite a improvement in Secret Agent Clank than in Size Matters. I really have actually for the most part enjoyed playing this game. This game more of the original Ratchet and Clank games style and gameplay than in Size Matters, and trust me on this one. I absolutely hated Size Matters on the PS2 because of its poor graphics and pretty much everything else except for the controllers and the music. Anyways, the reason I think this game is a OK game is because of the fast paced, and the better graphics, and the more smoothness this game is. The enemies are way easier to kill than the enemies in Size Matters. I also liked the weapons in the game, even though they could of made more and better weapons, but its not a big deal. I especially liked the weapon that you throw and a plant comes out of the ground and starts eating up the enemies that are close to it, I thought that was pretty creative. I also like the gadgets and the weapons they had from the original Ratchet and Clank games. I also liked the fact that the weapons were a lot stronger. The storyline was pretty good and interested. They could of made it better in a sense, but it was pretty good. The music was great, it really sounded so much alike the music in the original Ratchet and Clank series. The sound effects were also good. The challenge was for the most part excellent. The one and only thing I HATED about this game was definantly the Captain Quark levels. Seriously they were LAME. Not only were they LAME but they were annoying too. I mean the first 2 Captain Quark levels were alright, but then they just got SO boring. I also like some of the humor in it, they had some funny stuff here and there, so that made the game a bit more enjoyable. I mean what would a Ratchet and Clank game be without humor..right?? So anyways, this is pretty much everything I think about the game. Like I said before, this game is not as good as the original Ratchet and Clank games, not even as good as the first Ratchet and Clank game, but if they would of fixed a couple of things here and there, it would of been as good as the first Ratchet and Clank game. So if you're looking to buy this game, and your not sure if you think it's a good game, then I would say buy the game, but buy it used. So that if you don't like it, you can always return it, and get something else.
