Samurai Warriors Review
Samurai Warriors is an excellent game for people who like combat games. The storyline is pretty smooth except for a couple of endings where they leave you hanging, wondering if there's anything else that's going to happen or if that's the end. Also, the controls are excellent. The control layout is easy to become familiar with so you don't have to spend time playing with an akward layout or trying to remap the controls. There are 5 weapons for each character. Obtaining the 5th weapon for the characters require the difficulty to be on either Hard or Chaos. The graphics are excellent. The interface is easy to navigate and doesn't require a "tour". There are 3 modes: Challenge Mode, Free Mode, and Story Mode. You can experiment with each of these modes and become familiar with what they are and what they do. Overall, this game is an excellent game worthy of good praise and I would recommend it to others who enjoy similar games. It's not perfect, but pretty close.
One of the Best PS2 Games Out There!
I used to play this game a lot, and the main reason why I liked it so much was for it's fast paced combat which at times feels a lot faster than Dynasty Warriors at times. The story lines for each character are amazing there are even times where you have to complete a certain objective to get an alternate endings. The abyss and castle modes are cool too, they allow you to find new weapons items and level up faster at but I recommend you try it after you've fully leveled up a powerful character. I actually prefer having a different scenario when it's time for you to enter a castle it makes it seem like there more to it then just kill the enemy chase the to one side of the map and have total control, instead you win the battle and a new one begins right away (it's like part two of mission three for example)
