RPG Maker 3
Only for hardcore Rpg players!
Rpg maker 3 is the 3rd in the not so good series but the 3rd rpg maker is the best out of the last two. But like the other two this one is a temper busting. Somtimes I wanted to throw somthing at my t.v cause nothing was going right. The towns were so huge I tried to but at least 20 people but you only could place 10. The world maps were cool with the samples so I wanted to do my own but it was so hard to level your hills, rivers, and I hated how your towns and your dungens are like hills which makes your world map so ugly. The characters were better then rpg maker 2 but the story character feet was meeting toe to toe. The sound was so annoying the epic boss song I wish I could but my own epic battle song. The main game story was fair but I rather to stick with ff or other known rpg's. You can make your own litthe story but good luck it's harder then it looks. You can spend playing this memory eating game for hours but if you are playing it for months and can't be playable then just for get it you won't get it done.
I think rpg maker 3 is a graet choice for a player who just loves rpgs. like for instance if you want to summon monsters you can do it. now its not sett in the future so you cant haver flying space or anything like that but its still graet personally its perfect!!! the spells you can pull of are endless and you can never get bored of the game the only bad thing is it takes forever to make the story and how you want it. it will probably take a few attempts to love your world but none the less you can have a great time learning stuff and if you have played the previous rpg maker it was in 2D which was still fun but now its in 3d so its alot better .The best part i would have to say is the chrecter class you can be anything from a mage to a ninja so thats pretty much the game and i highly recommend it.
Not what I wanted
This game was a huge let down. I thought I was buying an intuitive game building game. It didn't live up to my expectations in any way. It was very hard to place buildings so you couldn't go past during story mode. Also the preset levels locations are very boring and, yes, large. They are too large for the amount of pieces you are allowed to place leaving large open spaces, or making the area seem disfigured. Then their is the problem with the water placement. On the little map it gives you it looks great, but then you preview it and the water results in a steep drop-off to a tiny river below. It's also very easy to make it lag when building a dungeon. I built a hallway, just a straight hallway, and it lagged the whole test. The music makes this just unbearable, it is the same three boring notes over and over again.
This game is fun
I love this game so much you should get it you can create a rpg. And you can make a story too. It is cool.
