This game is perfect for: hardcore gamers

I think that most people who dislike this title are fans of the newer stuff, unfortunately the servers are down and have been down for quite a while now. I no longer own a PS2 nor the game but I truly believe that this is a classic. I love this entry mainly cause it keeps it on the horror side, there was no way you were able to fight crowds of undead with civilian characters who had no cqc skills aside from a front kick which was limited to certain characters while others had a tackle move, these moves were not meant to finish the undead but to knock them down so that you and your teammates can make it through them. I for one enjoyed the game very much. Yeah it was basic, simple and kind of short but what made this game fun and scary at times were the characters not being able to fight off hordes of zombies unless they ran off or had enough ammo which was scarce, then there were the classic RE zombies... imagine running into a T-103 with characters like these and you did in one chapter. Why can't capcom see that the timing on this game was just bad? They need to re-release these games, whether it be a remake or a sequek, even as a PSN/XBL title, I can sure see this title fairing out well.

I love Res. Evil, but this game sucks. I wont go into detail, just know that it is a terrible game and i would not even spend $5 on it. I got my copy for free from a friend who hated it as much as i do.

well this game is fun fun fun fun ! and intense but it also can be very hard but if your a one of those people that like a challenge then buy this game and it will have you wanting more after you beat all 5 scenarios and plus you can also buy mini games which will make you win extra points and not only that you can buy more characters wow thats a wide variety of things that will have you wanting more.

THIS is what resident evil was meant to be. Using anything at your disposal(sticks,stones,pipes,knives,etc.)and shooting while walking! Always have a bead on the dead,and you have the most famous area of all resident evil! the RPD! And the TYRANT/T-103 makes a comeback. So,If you have the Ca$h, go and get this game!

Finally in the resident evil series you can walk and shoot at the same time.But to bad this is the ONLY the resident evil game that you can walk and shoot.:(The walk and was very helpful on enemies and bosses.

Its a good game, but it's kinda like the 1st outbreak, but better aiming, you ask to use aid sprays, weapons, also heal when you are in crawling position. At least there's more stages to play like elimination stages, and boss fight stages. There are scary places in the game you'll never knew! Well overall its good i guess!

resident evil fann

this is a great resident evil. ill start with the good. you get three people on your team. you and two team members. you can find so many weapons. from handguns, shotguns, hunting rifles, to brooms, butchers knifes, sticks, and stones. you can also combine items to make new weapons. like flamethrowers. you can request your partners to take medicine or to give you an item/weapon. you can give them weapons and items also. you can go to a zoo and fight zombie elephants, hyenas, birds and so many more. and it gives you an clear tutorial in the beginning for those of you that haven't played resident evil, or just haven't played in a while. the bad part is that its only one player. i don't see why it can't be two or three because you have two partners anyway. The game can be really confusing and hard at some parts. there are only four or five levels. but the levels take a while to finish. there aren't that many characters. but overall the games is great.
