Prince of Persia Sands of Time is a really awesome game for PS2. First, the storyline is really good. Second, the graphics are pretty good for the PS2 and the cut scenes are done really well. Combat is pretty cool, but there aren't alot of possible combos you can do and the ones you can often take longer than it's worth. Often you'll find yourself mindlessly mashing the attack button using the first combo you get. However, if you do use the other combos, they are pretty cool and it's pretty fun to watch the nimble prince bounce off walls and throw enemies to the ground and suck them up into your magic dagger of time. One of the worst things about Prince of Persia is that some puzzles aren't very well explained and may take hours to solve. But, once you do solve the puzzles it's very rewarding. Overall, Prince of Persia Sands of Time is a great game. It has good graphics, cool combat, and a great storyline. If you want a really cool action adventure game, Prince of Persia is a great choice.

OK, so I bought this game a while ago and it took me a good 2 days to beat it. ( really the only games I couldnt beat in less than 2 days were Zelda, Oblivion, and Fallout so this was a decently long game ) The thing I thought was really awesome about this game was not only Prince's epic ninja moves, but you could rewind time, which really comes in handy and makes the game not too hard and frustrating because when you die, REWIND, and you can try it again. BUT, you do run out of sand so thats what makes the game not TOO easy. So its a pretty well balanced game as far as not too hard but not too easy, its just right. Its a very interesting storyline and has lots of action so you dont get bored, but once again, not too much action so you just feel like all your doing is slicing and dicing and not getting anywhere. Bottem line, one great game for ps2, if you dont have it, get it. It sorta kinda reminded me of Assassins Creed for ps2 if that helps you to better visualize the game.

From hardcore action to solving puzzles. I mean, how many games actually let you move so freely? From wall running to stalactite jumping, you get your action. From moving light beams to proceed in the level, then to being shot by Farah. These things make up A great interactive game. Going on my ratings, 8 for challenge. some parts seemed too easy, but others took me a bit to go on. controls, I knew what I was doing half the time, when I wasn't it was just because I have forgotten a trick or two. Graphics/Animation: Breathtaking for a game of that time, the animation had certain clicks that got me, from the wall running to him just getting a drink of water. Interface: (If I understand it right) You have free reign of your environment, even during battle. Length: Just right, a whole freaking palace! Sound: Voice was fuzzy, same with other things. Storyline: Well thought out storyline. It can grasp you and make you want to complete it, not sure if it gives full immersion. get it!

I got this game a while ago for only $**** and i was shocked how great of a game it was. The cut seine graphics were horrible but the gameplay graphics are magnificeint. The camera was cooperative and sound wasnt bad. The gameplay makes up for every other flaw in the game. The gameplay is incredible and insanely addicting. Story line wasnt wow but the controls are easy to learn and overal simple. It is a really short game that a begginer could mow through in 3 days tops. the chaleng is borderline hard and pull your hair out and punch a hole in the wall but wont stop you from playing. The battle is a little irritating espesially when it takes about ten minuits to get through one battle and forget what your doing and then imediatly run into another battle. It keeps the battle and acrobatics of the game seperated pretty well. I recomend this game to anybody who wants the most bang for your buck or if you just want to jump off walls like a ninja.

First off, this game is amazing. Second off, unfortunately, there are some cons to this game. Cons: 1. Camera Angles- Sometimes you'll be walking while some enemies are following you and suddenly the angle changes and you can't see anything. 2. Combat - Don't get me wrong, the combat is soo fun but, there are only 5 - 7 moves. 3. Boss Battles- There aren't any battles really but there are moments where there are like 20-50 guys trying to kill you. Eventually it gets to hard and you get down to 2 guys and then suddenly you die. Pros: 1. Acrobatics- The Prince is amazing and levels are so fun jumping around. 2. Recall- When you capture sand, every once in a while if you do something you didn't want to do you can rewind time. 3. Story- Overall the story is amazing. It's so unique that it could appeal to anyone. Overall: The game is so much fun It'll keep you busy for atleast 15-20 hours. But, be sure that it'll be tricky!

this game is just plain awesome. i don't have a PS2, but i played it at my friends house. first of all, the game itself would be over 10 stars, so, i think you just have to go to gamestop and get this game immediatly. even though its T, young gamers who can read will not find anything disturbing from what i've played. but, its sad they didn't make a Wii version of this game this year, because it could fit with the new movie, which is based on this game. luckily, theres a GameCube and a GameBoy version, so i can get a Gamecube controller ($15), and the game (10). now, lets look at the story. ok, theres this prince, and people are attacking this castle, and the prince wants to stop them for pride from his father, the king of persia. the prince goes through puzzles (very challenging) and defeats enemys. to regain pride from his father, he steals the dagger of time (like a knife sort of thing), which could kill monsters, and stop, rewind, or make time pass. i think all gameboy, gamecube, ds, and all the systems should have this game in their library, since this is a must-have videogame.

Sands of Time is so close to hitting a mark no game had hit until the Assassin's Creed series. The combat is ridiculous. The action is super packed and super fast. This is the game for action fans.

this is a great game it is cool and fun. Like in the beginning of the game you get on the second level a super cool dagger that can control time. If you die you press L1 and you can rewind time and undo what you did wrong. The game is pretty hard like on the third or fourth level you have to fight these zombie guards and you cant jump on some of them and if you do they use some type of staff sword thing and they will stab you. It was still kinda easy though. The graphics were pretty good for a 2003 game but the movie scenes were great. The story was great it was about how the prince was fighting in war and he was trying to impress his dad and gets the dagger that is very important but they use it wrong and something happens at the end of the game but you will have to get the game to find out. The controls are great and i recommend this game.

This is one of my top of the line ps2 games along with mlb 10 the show call of duty 3 and madden 08. The graphics are really good for a 2003 game. However there are like 3 really major cutscences which are like wow! The challenge is really good. My 40 year old father had trouble beating some of the battles and puzzles. This game includes alot of acrobatic skills. The ps2 controller is just right for this game. The storyline is one of the most unique you will ever see. Controls as i said the ps2 controller is just right. Interface is awesome. YOu see so much going on. The only thing that didnt like is the sound is not the best. During gameplay it is ok but when he says " do you wish me to leave before finishing my story" it is fuzzy. you can still understand it. Other than that it is a great game. Amazing. 11/10

Prince of Persia Sands of Time, the first in it's on going series, is definitely worth the cash. It is quite old and outdated but if your looking into buying the others, the first is where to start. The storyline was really interesting and like no other. And the movie graphics were outstanding! It's only downfall was the fact that it took FOREVER to complete one chapter. I want a challenge, but this game is a bit too challenging. I guess thats what makes it fun. But for some people a month to complete a chapter is a bit too long. For those who get antsy or frustrated easy this game is NOT for you. But if you like that kinda stuff, then YES, buy this game. Personally I found this game to be awesome. I recommend this everyone, really! To all those scardy cats out there take a risk.
