Prince of Persia: Sands of Time
I didn't really get into these games..
Wait, what am I doing? This isn't a review! This game is good to some people, but just not me. I have trouble with this game after a while and needs an easier way of explaining what to do. Though may be a good game to some people.
Great game, truely one of the greats
This is a great game everything is perfect must buy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I also think the wall running is fun
good for a doller
This game is good and is great for pop (prince of persia) fans. The gameplay is smooth and fluid and the sword and knife combos are fun the graphics arent the best but good for 2003. The sound is its downfall the guys voice is whiny and the soundtrack is great but it dosnt sound good on the speakers. Overall I would give this game a 7.75.
the game can get boring the things you fight are really slow and easy to kill. all in all this game is cheap so get. it beat it. and then get rid of it
This game is amazing! I can't even explain how great it is! It is addicting and fun! All I must say is go out and buy it!
This game is really good it is long and fun it is also hard but has a lot of adventure I liked it.
Best game in the world for Ps2
This game is awesome. everything is perfect except for graphics and sound. This game is very challenging for first time players and it takes some time to get accustomed to the way you have to knock sand monsters to the floor then use your dagger. I love the way that even though the Prince has all these acrobatic skills (like running on wall, swinging on poles, etc.) and the sands of time (he can rewind time, freeze enemies, make time slow down, etc) the game takes a lot of skill to play because of hard puzzles and dangerous traps. i also love how the Prince's name is never revealed throuought the entire series, adding to the mystery and suspense. The actual game graphics are terrible, but the opening mini movie and ending clip have like ps3 graphics. Also, farah, the Prince's partner in the game, gets very annoying because always accidentley shoots you with arrows in fighting and dies a lot, which means always keep an eye on her in battle. When i got to the level called death of a sand king, where PRINCE has to fight his father the king of persia who turned into a sand creature, i thought i was at the last level cause of the name. boy i was wrong. there was at least like 30 levels after that, and that was like the eight or so. The story is very intense and creative, like a movie. so be prepared to be shocked. Here is what happens in the game so youll know what to expect: The game begins with the persians going to raid a city. The prince sneaks past all the battle and warfare to find the treasure vaults where he hopes to find a treasure for his trophy in his first battle. he finds the dagger of time and leaves to find his father, king of persia, hauling the hourglass of time. The vizier, who helped the persians win the battle, asks for the dagger of time but the king says no. the persians gather slaves and animals to give to the sultan of azard as a gift. Farah, daughter of a marajah(whatever that is), is taken too. when they get to the sultans palace the sultan asks about the hourglass, the sand inside, why does it glow?(which it does). here the vizier tells evreybody that inside the hourglass is a wonderful marvel nobody has seen, and only that dagger can unlock it. and this belongs to a young prince, dearer to his father then all the wealth of persia. what the vizier said was a lie, but everybody believes him. so the prince walks up and is just about to unlock the hourglass when farah yells wait, no, stop! because she knows the sands of time were locked up for a reason. but it's too late because the prince has unlocked the hourglass. The sands pour out and the building starts to crumble and pieces fall to the floor. realizing that something is wrong, the soliders and the king of persia swing their swords around to get the sands away. the vizier walks toward the prince, teliing him you have unleashed the sands of time. give me the dagger to undo what you have done! while he says this, prince notices people screaming and being turned into sand creatures, including his father. when the vizier grabs for the dagger, the prince jumps out of the way as the crumbles down behind him, making a wall... im leaving it up to you to decide if you will figure the rest out by getting this game or leave it at that. I would recomend this game for someone who likes adventrous puzzle platform games and is prepared for a deep storyline. i would not reccomend this game for people who like shoot em up games, where all you do is shoot and kill and shallow simple storylines(like my older brother, who for some reason hates this game)>: i am a mix of both. hAVE fUN!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! PS. below are some other good ps2 games
Closest your gonna get to pure AWESOMENESS!!
OK, so I bought this game a while ago and it took me a good 2 days to beat it. ( really the only games I couldnt beat in less than 2 days were Zelda, Oblivion, and Fallout so this was a decently long game ) The thing I thought was really awesome about this game was not only Prince's epic ninja moves, but you could rewind time, which really comes in handy and makes the game not too hard and frustrating because when you die, REWIND, and you can try it again. BUT, you do run out of sand so thats what makes the game not TOO easy. So its a pretty well balanced game as far as not too hard but not too easy, its just right. Its a very interesting storyline and has lots of action so you dont get bored, but once again, not too much action so you just feel like all your doing is slicing and dicing and not getting anywhere. Bottem line, one great game for ps2, if you dont have it, get it. It sorta kinda reminded me of Assassins Creed for ps2 if that helps you to better visualize the game.
I got this game a while ago for only $**** and i was shocked how great of a game it was. The cut seine graphics were horrible but the gameplay graphics are magnificeint. The camera was cooperative and sound wasnt bad. The gameplay makes up for every other flaw in the game. The gameplay is incredible and insanely addicting. Story line wasnt wow but the controls are easy to learn and overal simple. It is a really short game that a begginer could mow through in 3 days tops. the chaleng is borderline hard and pull your hair out and punch a hole in the wall but wont stop you from playing. The battle is a little irritating espesially when it takes about ten minuits to get through one battle and forget what your doing and then imediatly run into another battle. It keeps the battle and acrobatics of the game seperated pretty well. I recomend this game to anybody who wants the most bang for your buck or if you just want to jump off walls like a ninja.
this game is just plain awesome. i don't have a PS2, but i played it at my friends house. first of all, the game itself would be over 10 stars, so, i think you just have to go to gamestop and get this game immediatly. even though its T, young gamers who can read will not find anything disturbing from what i've played. but, its sad they didn't make a Wii version of this game this year, because it could fit with the new movie, which is based on this game. luckily, theres a GameCube and a GameBoy version, so i can get a Gamecube controller ($15), and the game (10). now, lets look at the story. ok, theres this prince, and people are attacking this castle, and the prince wants to stop them for pride from his father, the king of persia. the prince goes through puzzles (very challenging) and defeats enemys. to regain pride from his father, he steals the dagger of time (like a knife sort of thing), which could kill monsters, and stop, rewind, or make time pass. i think all gameboy, gamecube, ds, and all the systems should have this game in their library, since this is a must-have videogame.
