This game is amazing.
This game is by far one of the best games I have ever played. The characters have actual character rather than just the inappropriate things you see today. It has amazing graphics compared to other games I've played from that year. Its over all just amazing. It has a great story line that you can play over and over again without getting bored. There's always something new you find while you play it. The music is thrilling and fun to listen too. The dialog is very well thought out. Graphics are great. Attacks are awesome. Though I do admit, its extremely difficult when you first start. Just the fun of it though. Over all, great game. I have never been let down when I play it.
It will blow you away!
Primal is an absolute masterpiece of a game for the playstation 2. It stars a women named Jen Tate and she is attacked and sent into mystical realms. It has amazing graphics and sounds, amazing voice acting and the best part: AN AMAZING STORY. For cheap you can get this amazing game developed exclusive for the Playstation 2 system by Sony Computer Entertainment Cambridge and experience this classic cult game. Whats more? its not available on Playstation 3 for 9.99! Dont miss your chance to own this wonderful game. Check out the recommendations i added and click PRIMAL DLC to see the PS3 version. Buy a code from gamestop and get this to play on Playstation 3. AMAZING game.
AWESOME GAME! ONE OF MY FAVS!
Ok, well even though I didn't buy Primal here recently, I thought I should post a review so people can see how good of a game this is if you're deciding to get it! Everything about the game is good! The story, the characters, the music, EVERYTHING! It's one of my favorite games of all times! Even the graphics are good and look like they are from like 4 years ago... Just get this game! The only sucky thing is that there isn't a part 2. Maybe we'll see a part 2 soon because this game was just recently made buyable in the PS3 Network/Game Marketplace thing. But anyways this game is so underrated/unheard of, yet it's just SO GOOD. I wish someone who works at the company that made this game will consider making a part 2 or something lol...
Absolutely Loved This Game!
I have to say this is one of my all time favorite games. The female protaganist was awesome and the story line was pretty original. For its time, the graphics rocked. Everyone I have talked to have all said the same about the game. It is one of the few games that I have played more than once and will probably continue to play years from now. I just fell in love with the characters and the story. I wished they would come out with a follow-up. That's the only real flaw to the story is that they left a cliffhanger and never came out with a sequel. I really can't think of a thing that I didn't like. Even the music was cool. My recommendation would be to buy the game. I don't think you'll find one out there quite like this. Its a true diamond in the rough.
Primal - Underrated and Underappreciated
First, I want to start by praising the creators of the game Primal for making such a believable female protagonist that shows emotions as in real life while retaining her strong heroic presence throughout the game. This game renewed my faith in the gaming community because Jen Tate does not run around in skimpy clothing to get the audience's attention. The game's storyline and characters grab the attention of the audience from the beginning. Although the combat set-up with the controller appears to be simplistic, it challenges you to notice which combos work best for certain enemies. Each realm has a strategic combat for each realm where Jen utilizes different demon forms and must learn to fight with the weapons each demon form provides her. The key to her survival is Scree who acts as guardian and teacher. Also, there are times when you will be fighting a Boss while helping Scree with another task in order to survive: sort of like killing two birds with one stone I suppose. Primal does move rather slowly. It might not appeal to players that prefer fast paced games with complex combat moves. Primal has plenty of cut-scene animation that provides the player with more of the storyline as you progress through the game, including information about the characters which explains why Jen is there and Scree. The controller is pressure sensitive. If you press R2 lightly, you will hit the enemy with a lighter attack then if you were to press and hold the R2 longer and then release for a stronger attack. Overall, Primal is worth buying if you enjoy a good storyline as well as playing two protagonistic characters throughout a game. The sensitivity of the game controller can be difficult at first if you are not used to playing games that rely on it but you will get used to this as you progress in the game. The dialogue is some of the best I have heard in a game. If you want to experience your game like a movie, this is one game that does it well.
