This was one of the first games I ever played on PS2 (original system). ANd I have to say this is actually really funy. Although you can run through the whole play area in no time, there is still a ton of crimes such as theft, drug dealing, hustling, and even suicides. I would definately recomned this game to anyone. You are a corrupt cop re-earning your badge. You aslo have a drug problem. On this game you can get drunk and high on all the differeant narcotics. The story line is fantastic as many different twist and turns occur. A very cool and enjoyable game. You can even betray you official police duties and become a criminal, kicked off the forcem and even sell drugs. The fun never ends. It is not intended for children so I can't technically recomend it to anyone. But it still a really bad-ass game.

Gameplay -It has an arcade type feel to it having you kill masses of enemies as well as spy missions, massive fights, boss battles, and sniping. Guns - HUGE assortment of weapons. There are pistols, sub machine guns, auto snipers, mini guns, assault rifles, shotguns, rocket launchers, grenade launchers, everything! Many drugs in this game as well acting as power ups for example crack will improve your aim and make you more powerful while weed slows down the game like bullet time. Badge rating - Makes for an interesting game for example if you accidentally shoot too many civilians you will be demoted and be forced to collect drugs for badge points to get you back to work. If you cause more trouble however your behavior is dealt with by making you lose your clothes and your badge. There are 2 cities and a final "boss island" where you take on the final boss. Many things about this game make it enjoyable like boss battles mixed with lots of shooting. Theres not much challenge except for the controls which is my only complaint. When your on top of vans and it turns you must reposition your aim as it gets thrown off every turn. Sniping missions are also tedious having you readjust your aim just right which can take a while. The music alternates from mellow hip hop to hardcore gangster rap and this is also an enjoyable part of the game. Music is top notch here and fits with the atmosphere. There is nothing but fun to be had with NARC. This games critics seem to only complain which isn't what this game is about. This isn't a famous GTA that will satisfy everyone to the best of its politically correct crime abilities. NARC does its thing and does it beautifully. Enjoy this precious gem!
