Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance
Choose Your Destiny!!!
You know, this is actually a pretty fun game! the controls are decent, the graphics are mind blowing, special moves are awesome!... most of them, the controls are decent as always, and different from the last Mortal Kombat game (Mortal Kombat 4) and unlike Mortal Kombat 4, you don't pull out weapons by doing a move, like a special move, just press R1 button twice, speaking of that there are 3 different fighting styles, 2 martial arts, and 1 weapon art, there's also a conquest mode and if you complete it you can unlock Blaze, who is not the most original character ever but he's decent, there are also some videos like the history of Mortal Kombat, and a Music Video of Deadly Alliance, you can unlock other characters, my favorite character is Scorpion, oh and guess what, Liu Kang is NOT in this game, he was killed by the Deadly Alliance! I could tell you who they are but I don't want to spoil it for you, I recommend this game, not the best MK game but its fun and with the violence it always had!
mortal kombat is my favorite game.
i really like mortal kombat deadly alliance it is c
Same old MK :)
It's what i would expect form the Mortal Kombat Series of games, that is a good statement btw lol, I think the puzzle game is Hystarical! and Konquest mode was epic in its own way, yes there were alot of frustrations with Konquest, and some things had glitches or just couldn't be done, but it was still great. The main charatcters story line was neatly put together and kept me interested, even through tough parts in the game the story line is what makes you keep playing and pushing through. although i do have to say it does it alightly dull once you've finished konquest mode, but there are still thigs for you to do in it. I think they made a good movei not changing up the Veruse modes to much, it still had that wonderful arcade feel with a modern Consol twist which i think is a very nice mix. The game has Ample Cheats a tricks to find for hardcore games and those near impossible 12 hit or up combo's and buttom patterns that will tie your fingers into knots. rated mature for blood and violence but the blood is (idkk if it's even possible but) PG at the most, it looks more like cherry jam, the game should have been rated mature for the way the girls dress, i bought the game when i am 18 now and i still find that they could use a bit more coverage. loved the changing weather and time in konquest i just loved watching the screen go from dawn til dusk while i was on the adventure. overall though it's a wonderfull game you won't be sorry.
Pretty Typical Fighter
Mortal Kombat Deadly Alliance is pretty much exactly what you'd expect from a Mortal Kombat title. There's plenty of violence, brutal fatalities, and fun characters. That said, there's really not much else. The fighting style system, which allows you to switch between three fighting styles (2 unarmed and 1 armed) does help switch things up, but most people will pick a particular style and stay with it no matter what. The fighting dynamics themselves really can't compete with the likes of anything in Virtua Fighter or Tekken and commonly feature the characters taking turns pulling ridiculously long combos on one another, juggling one another or exchanging blows with special attacks. The sheer volume of unlockable content is pretty impressive, but a lot of it really isn't really worth taking the time to unlock it. Honestly I couldn't care less about character sketches, and most of the backstory you unlock would have been much better told in the game itself. The plot itself is standard for Mortal Kombat, which is to say there really is none, outside of what you sometimes get to read in static text screens. So ultimately, I still recommend this game if you're an MK fan, or even if you just prefer a little extra violence in your fighting games, as it's fun to play for a couple of hours with a friend or two, but there really are quite a few better fighting games out there that are more worth your time and money.
